1. Evaluation
What went well?
The music and the video as a whole worked well together as it
helps to create the suspense and fear of Dylan’s characters.
There were some very good shots in the piece I thought.
Especially the shot when Craig’s character walks into frame.
What didn’t go well?
I felt all shots were out. For example one scene Dylan is by the door then he isn’t for the
next frame. Certain clips I feel didn’t go well also. A good example of this is the speed of
Dylan’s movement when he came through the door to the speed and aggressiveness of him
shutting the door. He comes in walking and then aggressively trys to keep the door shut
Would you change anything if you could go back and startover?
I would change a lot. Possibly the whole thing. I would have changed the set and the style in
which I wanted. As it didn’t feel as scary as I wanted it. I would sort out the lighting so
instead of it just being low key for Craig it would be low key for every frame.
What have you learnt for next time?
That the actors needto be standinganddoingexactlywhattheywere doinginthe previousshotso
all shotsflowtogether.i wouldalsomake itlongerandfocusthe camerabetterso the qualityof the
whole piece will be the bestitcan. Craigscharacter was supposedtobe a ghost butit isverydifficult
to tell this(itfeelslike craigisjusta creepyguy) andI wouldlike todevelophischaracterif Iwas
