1. Introduction
Microsoft Intune is a Mobile Device Management (MDM) & Mobile Application Management (MAM)
solution which helps to prevent leakage of corporate data from Mobile.

3. Unenroll your Android device from AirWatch.
Open the device setting and go to Security >> Device Administrator
Un-tick Hub
Click on “Deactivate this device admin app”
Click OK
Uninstall all the associated apps like R-apps (including corporate apps), Boxer/Inbox, Content
Locker, Web, etc.

4. Enroll your device in Intune.
Install the Microsoft Intune Company Portal app on your device from Google Play Store and
Click on Open
Once opened, the Intune Company Portal will greet you with a Welcome screen. On the Sign
in screen enter your RIL Domain ID (DomainID@ril.com) and then enter the password.
(E.g. If your domain ID is rahul1.patil then enter credential “rahul1.patil@ril.com”)

On the Company Access Setup page, tap Continue.
Intune will show the list of what your IT administrator can and can’t see on your enrolled
device, and tap CONTINUE.
Review some of the things that you might see once you tap Enroll. When you finish reading,
tap NEXT.
Allow Company Portal to access your contacts, tap ALLOW. (It is safe to tap ALLOW. When
you allow access, it only allows the Company Portal app to access data logs to help
troubleshoot issues with your device).
On the Activate device administrator screen, tap ACTIVATE.

Your device is now enrolled in Intune, and you are taken back to the Company Portal app.
In the Apps tab click on View All to see list of all Business apps.
Tap on the company Line-of-Business app to install and follow the screen instructions.
5. Install and Configure Outlook Application.
In the Apps Tab, tap on the Microsoft Outlook and click on “View in Google Play”

This will redirect you to play store.
Click on INSTALL, Once the installation is completed, tap on OPEN.
Click on Get Started.
If any previously configured email account found in Outlook then, kindly uncheck the same
and Skip.
Enter your email ID (firstname.lastname@ril.com) and click on Continue.

Outlook will pick the ID enrolled in the Company Portal and it will automatically configure the
profile. Tap on Continue.
Outlook will ask to configure any additional personal accounts. If yes click on Continue or
else click on Skip.

Tap on ok to continue, later you will be prompted to set a complex 4-digit passcode (you
need to remember this code).
(Eg: It will not accept simple 4-digit pin like 1111/6543, you need to set a complex 4-digit pin
like 2361/4357)

6. To open attachments download the following apps on
mobile and sign-in to these apps using your corporate ID
(For additional info refer point 7).
Note: If you have Word or Excel apps already installed, please ensure you sign-out
and sign-in with your corporate ID again.

Microsoft Excel – viewing and creating spreadsheets/workbooks/csv
Microsoft Word – viewing and creating documents
Microsoft PowerPoint – viewing and creating Presentations
Microsoft SharePoint – to access SharePoint sites.
Microsoft Skype for Business – IM, Audio calls, conference calls etc.
Microsoft Teams – for team chat/meeting/Audio and video calls/ collaboration etc.
Azure Information Protection – for protected files.
