The current landscape of social media is blooming. Today there are more than 200 working Social Media websites on the internet. Some well known social media sites that are known to the everyday person are Face book, Twitter, Youtube just to name a few. These websites are free to join and more than 600,000 people visit them daily.
Out of all internet users 67% are using social networks. The demographics are very well rounded. Social media users comes in all shapes and sizes, from the very young to the older adults. Social Media users are both men and women. All ethnic groups, from all areas from the suburban areas to the urban areas.
The benefits of Social Media is limitless. Once a message has been sent out it can spread like wild fire over the web and you’ll be surprised at how quickly your message can reach thousands, even millions, of Internet-users around the world.(Campo, 2012). Other benefits from Social Media that could influence word of mouth in you favor is using Social Media to post employment ads for your company on their sites. So it can be seen by everyone who visited that Social Media site. Which is a good benefit for your company.
In conclusion, your business can benefit from using social media forcustomer service, marketing, and more. It’s time to have Social Media working for you, as a silent partner. Utilizing social media in business takes time, commitment, and knowledge of social media. Proper use of social media in business can be the most powerful tool you can have at your disposal!
