Brief Overview Of Changes to former AEIS report


Due to changes in legislation, the performance report
formerly known as the Academic Excellence Indicator
System/ AEIS, is now the Texas Academic Performance
Report/ TAPR. ‘



This report pulls together a wide range of information on
the performance of students in each school and district
in Texas. The report also provides extensive information
on school and district staff, programs, and
demographics.



The changes and the report in its entirety will be shared
during the January 16th Public Hearing.
Name Change: Due to changes in legislation, the performance
report formerly known as the Academic Excellence Indicator
System, AEIS, is now the Texas Academic Performance Report,
TAPR.
School Report Card: Campuses will receive a Newly Designed
School Report Cards in January 2014
Financial Component: The financial component of the TAPR is now
a link embedded in the report and a hard copy is no longer
provided.
Stakeholders Without Internet Access: A hard copy of the full
report will need to be available in public places such as each school
office, local businesses, and or public libraries.


STAAR percent at phase in I, level 2 or above



STAAR percent at final level 2 or above



STAAR percent met or exceeded progress



Grades 5 and 8 Specific: Student Success Initiative



High School Specific : Graduation Recognitions, Enrollment/
Courses, Longitudinal Rate, TX Success Initiative, College
Ready, AP, SAT/ ACT, Graduates Enrolled in Texas Institutions
Of High Ed.


To accommodate members of the public without internet
access, a copy of the full TAPR report should be available in at
least one public place such as each school office, library, etc.



TAPR data is disaggregated by demographic and special
program groups which are listed at the top of your report. You
may see a slight increase/decrease in percentages when
comparing the accountability tables you received in August. For
specifics regarding student groups and accountability, please
see the 2013 accountability manual.



The TAPR Glossary will provide calculations for each campus
