OBJECTS OF MEDITATION
From among what are enumerated in the Qur‟an and
sunnah to reflect upon are the following:
The wonderful creation of camel (let‟s go to zoo)
The surprising nature and behaviour of the oceans and
seas (let‟s go beach)
The hugeness of the mountains (let‟s go hiking)
The traces of destruction of the past arrogant and sinful
people (let‟s go middle-east)
The sick ones (let‟s go hospital)
The aged ones (they were once upon a time fine
looking and strong like you)

HOW TO DO
At the sea side, while sailing, while on flight, under
the shade of trees, just find time to relax, stare at the
mango, the camel that carry heavy loads and the
mountains that remain unshaken, the sky that rains,
look at the tides on oceans, the twinkle stars and the
full moon, they do not exist by happenstance, they
do not operate by themselves. Who created them?
why are they created? Allah created them, they are
to serve man, without their existence, life will be
miserable for man. If all these are created to obey
and serve man, MAN IS CREATED TO OBEY AND
SERVE WHO?. The answer is the purpose of the
meditation.

COLLECTIVELY DONE,
PERMISSIBLE? HOW?
Yes, it is permissible. The prophet once
make the sahabas lied on their backs
facing the sky and looking at the stars and
moon. This is one way of doing it in group,
even if under building roof, we still lie on our
backs facing up. Excursion to the cemetery
in a group, silent meditation after short
admonition facing the graves while we
stand is another way, etc, etc
