IntroductIon
What is wireless electricity ?
Use as inconvenient,hazardus,imposible to
wire connection.
Wireless electric power delivered over room
scale distance with high efficiency.
PrIncIPle
.
 Simple wireless power transmission works because of the
principles of magnetic resonance and magnetic induction.
 This power transmission system relies on two coils in range with
each other and resonating at the same frequency.
 Specific range of transmitting and receiving coil.
tesla effect
Dr.Nikola
Tesla
The 187-foot Wardenclyffe Tower
(Tesla Tower) in 1903.
In 1891 Nikola made a striking demostration.he held
a gas discharge tube an early version of the modern
fluorescent bulb. The bulbs were not connected to
any wires, but they glow brightly during their
demonstration. The electricity transmitted through
the air the pair of metal sheet which sandwiched the
stage.

The basis for Tesla’s system for the wireles
transmission of electrical
power
The modern ideas are dominated by
microwave power transmission (MPT,
Figure ) called Solar power satellite to be
built in high earth orbit to collect
sunlight and convert that energy into
microwaves, then beamed to a very large
antenna on earth, the microwaves would
be converted into conventional electrical
power.
• Resonance and magnetic induction.
• The coils need to be in range.
• Matching resonating frequency is also needed.
Massachusetts InstItute of
technology research
Demonstrating the ability to
power a 60-watt light bulb
from a power source seven
feet away without wires
might not seem like the
most impressive of feats.
resonance and WIreless
PoWer
Induction can take place a little differently
if the electromagnetic fields around the
coils resonate at the same frequency. The
theory uses a curved coil of wire as an
inductor. A capacitance plate, which can
hold a charge, attaches to each end of the
coil. As electricity travels through this coil,
the coil begins to resonate. Its resonant
frequency is a product of the inductance of
the coil and the capacitance of the plates
hoW to Work
According to the theory, one coil can recharge any device
that is in range, as long as the coils have the same resonant
frequency. distance of about seven feet (two meters)

rectenna
What is mean by Rectenna ?
Principle Of Rectenna - The rectenna or rectifying
antenna composed of dipole antennas connected to
semiconductor diodes. These diodes direct the electrons
produced from the infrared or microwave energy to the
circuitry on the rectenna that distributes the electrons to
the system.

Long Distance Wireless Power
In the 1980s, Canada's Communications
Research Centre created a small
airplane that could run off power
beamed from the Earth. The unmanned
plane, called the Stationary High
Altitude Relay Platform (SHARP), was
designed as a communications relay.
Rather flying from point to point, the
SHARP could fly in circles two
kilometers in diameter at an altitude of
about 13 miles (21 kilometers). Most
importantly, the aircraft could fly for
months at a time.
AdvAntAges
The distribution system, no need cable, tower and
substations then reduce the cost.
Transmitted without wire to any terrestrial distance so
their will be no transmission and distribution loss.
High transmission integrity and low power loss.
disAdvAntAges
Biological impact.
Economic impact –
There is high power transmission so the cost may be
high.
The tesla tower was 1.5 lacks $ in 1903.
ApplicAtions
Industrial – Robot , Packaging machinery , Assembly
machinery , Machine tools.
Used in harsh environment – Drilling , Milling , Underwater.
Transportation – Industrial vehicles , cars .
Biomedical Instrumentation – Internal spacemaker
Diefilrilatar.
NASA also developed long distance power sources for
unmanned planes.
Future ApplicAtion
The transmission of power without wires is not a theory or a
mere possibility, it is now a reality. The electrical energy can
be economically transmitted without wires to any terrestrial
distance. Many researchers have established in numerous
observations, experiments and measurements, qualitative and
quantitative. Dr.N.Tesla is the pioneer of this invention.
