CHOICES

School of Chicago
Founded 1857
“A Community School with a
Worldly Spirit”
Principal:
Kenneth M. Staral
Assistant Principals:
P.J. Patrick Murat
Anthony G. Vandarakis
4. Orientation
For most students, Chicago is the
center of “their world”. CHOICE will
stretch that vision and provide a new
lens in which to view “our global
community.” Chicago serves as our
starting point where we begin the
investigations into ethnicity,
neighborhoods, architecture, the
arts, customs, cuisine, and culture.
5. The Ogden International School of
Chicago:
Expansion to Pre-K – 12th grade Education
1st school in the Chicago Public School
system (CPS) to offer Pre-K through 12th
grade
1st school nationally to incorporate the
Asia Society and Middle Years I.B.
Program
1st school to establish 6 working
international partnerships
District leader in both teacher and student
exchanges
7. Final Thought:
While the Ogden International School
of Chicago continues to grow, at
each level, our key philosophy has
not changed; we believe in providing
exceptional learning opportunities for
both Ogden students and Ogden
faculty that will push them to new
heights academically,
developmentally and professionally.
