The document defines several AWS services:
EBS provides block level storage volumes for EC2 instances. Auto Scaling automatically launches or terminates instances based on user-defined policies. RDS makes it easier to set up, operate and scale a relational database in the cloud. Glacier is a low-cost archival storage service optimized for infrequent data retrievals. EC2 provides on-demand cloud computing resources that users pay for only when actively using. Console is a graphical interface to manage cloud resources. Elastic IP addresses are static IP addresses that can be remapped to different instances for high availability.
5. A web service designed to
launch or terminate
instances automatically
based on user-defined
policies, schedules, and
health checks.

9. A web service that makes it easier
to set up, operate, and scale a
relational database in the cloud. It
provides cost-efficient, resizable
capacity for an industry-standard
relational database and manages
common database administration
tasks.

12. A secure, durable, and low-cost
storage service for data archiving
and long-term backup. You can
reliably store large or small amounts
of data for significantly less than on-
premises solutions. Glacier is
optimized for infrequently accessed
data, where a retrieval time of
several hours is suitable.

17. The AWS Cloud computing model
in which you pay for services on
demand and use as much or as
little at any given time as you need.
While resources are active under
your account, you pay for the cost
of allocating those resources and
for any incidental usage associated
with those resources, such as data
transfer or allocated storage.

25. A fixed (static) IP address that you have
allocated in Amazon EC2 or Amazon VPC
and then attached to an instance. Elastic IP
addresses are associated with your account,
not a specific instance. They are elastic
because you can easily allocate, attach,
detach, and free them as your needs change.
Unlike traditional static IP addresses, Elastic
IP addresses allow you to mask instance or
Availability Zone failures by rapidly remapping
your public IP addresses to another instance.
