 Purchase of new armored rescue vehicle.
 Implemented new four-person proactive FLEX Team in patrol.
 Implemented new two-person HOPE Team in patrol.
 Completed multi-day Corona Police and Fire active shooter
training and scenarios.
 Completed numerous drug and alcohol, pedestrian safety, and
handicap awareness operations.
 Adopt-a-School Program – every school has an assigned
officer to act as a liaison with staff and mentor with students.
 Joined two new force multiplying task forces – DEA and Dept.
of Homeland Security.
 Completed first phase of City wide Camera system including
new cameras in some City Parks.

This is the highest call volume in our 117 year history.
 Purchased two new KME Fire Engines.
 Transitioned to a new Fire Chief.
 Hired 3 new Firefighter Paramedics.
 Promoted 4 Captains, 2 Battalion Chiefs, 1 Deputy Chief.
 Moved Fire Headquarter, Training, Prevention, and
Operations into one location.
 Continued to provide emergency services to Riverside
County Fire Department under contractual agreement.
 Completed training and implementation of a Tactical
Response to Violent Incidents program with Corona Police
Department.
