Rome is an Italian city with over 2.8 million inhabitants, making it the largest city in Italy and fourth largest in the European Union. Some of Rome's most famous monuments include the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and St. Peter's Basilica. When visiting Rome, the author stayed near Piazza Navona, enjoyed pasta as the typical food, and found drinks to be more expensive than in Spain.
