2. GENERAL INFORMATION
Milan is located in the north-western section of the Po Valley, approximately
half-way between the river Po to the south and the first reliefs of the Alps
with the great lakes to the north, the Ticino river to the west and the Adda to
the east . Milan is the second most populous city in Italy after Rome.
Milan is the main industrial, commercial and financial centre of Italy and a
leading global city, is considered the world fashion and design capital.
3. Has a Mediterranean climate, because the summer is no dry season in
July. Normally there is not much wind, but in winter, a dry wind from the
north leaving the clear sky. Snowfall in winter are common but over time
have decreased in frequency and amount.
4. CURRENCY
The currency in Milan is the Euro. It is
distributed in both notes and coins. Notes
can be found in 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and
500-euro denominations and coins start
with the 1-cent piece and end with the 2
euro piece

*Pinacoteca di Brera : A world class
museum with importance comparable
with the Madrid's El Prado or the
Paris' Louvre. One of Italy's most
important art collections and one of
the foremost collections of Italian
paintings.
*Museo del Novecento: In Duomo
square, it is one of the most
important art museum dedicated to
the XX century. It shows the world
icon "the fourth State" by Dio van
Pellizza da Volpedo.
7. *Saint Mary of the Gracie : A Unesco World Heritage site, this basilica is one of
the masterpiece of the renaissance architect Donato Bramante. The dome is
one of the most delightful creation of Renaissance era. The exterior is
delicately carved, and the interior is filled with bright light and whimsical
atmosphere, a triumph of harmony.
*Milan : It is arguably the most beautiful cemetery in the Planet. It is filled with
lavish sculptures, impressive mausoleums and monuments. Well worth a visit!
*Piazza del Duomo :The grandest square in the city, the Piazza del Duomo is
the cultural and social heart of Milan, and contains several of its most famous
sights. Of course, the majestic cathedral and classy Galleria are there, but
there also is the Royal Palace, a fine 18th century building which is currently an
art exhibition centre, and several big, austere, old buildings.

stone's throw from La Scala so ideal for opera buffs.
*Town house :Town House 31 is a prime example. It occupies what was
once a 19th century bourgeoise palazzo and now represents an elegant
home from home. Interiors are mainly cream with brown hints, accessorized
with Oriental and African artefacts.

Before, I knew about Milan but i never had never imagined
that Milan could be so beautiful,and so interesting.
I did´t know that Milan is the capital fashion city,I honestly I
Really want to go because I like fashion.But I would like to visit
Milan´s famous museum too
