ifm electronic has added new features and functions to the ifm product line of speed monitors. In addition to the high input frequency of up to 60,000 pulses / minute and configurable functions, these also include an extended operating temperature range up to -40 °C. The newly developed luminous OLED display allows an optimal indication of all display values.

In addition to the high input frequency of up to 60,000 pulses / minute and configurable functions, these also include an extended operating temperature range up to -40 °C. The newly developed luminous OLED display allows an optimal indication of all display values. The speed monitors calculate the rotational speed by evaluating pulses. If the current values are above or below the set limit values, the transistor and relay outputs are switched. This allows reliable overspeed and standstill detection. Versions The speed monitors DD2501, DD2503 and DD2603 monitor the rotational speed of one channel with two separately adjustable limit values. A separate output is assigned to each limit value. The speed monitors DD2505 and DD2605 monitor two separate input channels, each having one switch point. User-friendly and reliable The high-contrast luminous OLED display and the menu-guided parameter setting are designed for maximum user-friendliness. Speed and standstill are monitored reliably and accurately with the new features, allowing an immediate response in case of malfunction.
