 What will be the productsandservicesthatwill be providedinyourbusiness?
o Our businessconsistsof three parts:Firstiscleaning,thispartof the businesswill
involve washing,polishingandwaxingof the customer’scar.The secondandthird
part of the businessisbuyingandsellingof cars,thispart of the businessinvolves
the customersellingtheircarsto us, andif we thinkthatthe car is sale-able,we
will buythe car from the customer,repairandtweakita little,andsell itfora
reasonable price.
 What kindof customersare youtargeting?
o Our businesstargetscustomersthatcanbuyeithersecondhandor brandnew
cars, and wantsit fora more reasonable price thanthose inthe original stores.
The businessalsotargetscustomersthatneedtohave theircars cleanedand
polished,andison-the-go,meaningthe carwashingwill be superfastandstill
have quality.
 What makesyourservice differentfromanyone else?
o Cleaning:We will ensurethatcustomerwhowouldlikeustowash andpolish their
car will still be comfortable andrelaxedastheywaitforusto do so. Ourworkers
will be quicker,willbe more efficientandwill provide qualityservice.
o BuyingandSelling:Oursecond-handproductswill notonlyhave quality,butalso
whenwe see thatit isfit,we will provide extrarepairandcustomizationfora
reasonable price.
 Where will yougetthe financial resourcestostartyourbusiness?
o First,we will getthe start upmoneyfromour ownpersonal capital,andif that is
still notenough we will loanfromselectedandtrustedbanks.
II. Name
The name forour auto-detailingbusinesswillbe “InKim Corporation”whichisamerge of
the namesof itstwofounders,InciongandKim.The businesswill focusoncleaning,buying
and sellingof cars.
III. Start-up Money
Our capital may be a little above average becausewe needitforbuyingthe place we do
our businessin.We alsoneeditforinvestingthe carswe needforsellingandthe tools
and materialswe needforthe car washand polishing.
IV. BusinessLocation
Our businessshouldbe locatednearamall or near shopsthatrepairscars. In the mall,
because manypeople will gothere andtheywill be able tosee ourshowroomandcarwash;
nearshopsthat repairscars, because thatis where peoplegoto buythingsassociatedto
cars.
V. Accounting System
The Capital isgoingto be brokendowntoseveral partsforour business:The one thatwill
have the most moneyshouldbe the start-upcarsthat we are goingto sell,mostlikely,half
of themwill be brand newandhalf will be secondhand.Thensecondly,the moneyforthe
place we are goingto setup the business;then forthe toolsneededforthe carwash,and
the salariesneedforthe manpowerandmaintenance.We shouldalsoallotmoneyforextra
needs,like advertisingfees,registrationfees,etc.
VI. Marketing Strategy
Our planto marketour businessbothtopotential investorsandinterestedclientsisby
maximizingthe use of the internet.InwebsitessuchasMultiply©,Facebook©,andebay©,
we can lessenthe use of moneyforinvestinginthistype of advertising.Thiscouldbe agood
alternative insteadof makingawebsite thatrequiresalotof money.These sitesare famous
for sellingthingsandbeingable tobe seenbypotential buyersandinvestors.
In our Carwashpart inthe business,we are tryingtomake ourworkerstime themselvesto
be able to cleanfasterbutstill efficientsoourclientsdon’tneedtowaitalongtime before

In our Buyand Sell partin the business, if we have enoughbudget,we are planningthat
whena customerbuysone car, we can give aone free customizationandcouponsforthe

IX. DetailedStepsfor each component:
a. Washingand Drying
i. Park the car ina shady spot,Cool the car before attemptingtowashthe car.
ii. Get the toolsneededtocleanthe car: bucket,softbrush,car soap,sponge,
chamoiscloth,waterhose,tire cleaner.
iii. Use the tire cleaner,thenrinse.If the firstcleaningdidn’tremovethe
accumulatedgrime,tryapplyingthe productagain.Thistime,though,use the
softbrushto cleanthe tires,rimes,wheel covers,etc.Letthe productsoak then
rinse thoroughly.
iv. Spray the entire carusingthe water hose,startingfromthe topdown.Try to
spray off as muchof the dirt,grime,bugs,birddroppingsaspossible byusing
the pressure of the water.
v. Mix the waterwithsoap,followingmanufacturer’sinstructions.
vi. Wash the roof of the car, Move the sponge or towel inwide swirlingmotions,
makingsure to covereveryinchof the car’s surface.
vii. Move downtothe windshield.Be careful whenliftingthe wipersastonot
breakthem.Move on to the hood anduse the same wide swirlingmotions.
Finally,washthe trunkareathenthoroughlyrinse the entire top of the car’s
bodysurface withcleanwater.
viii. Replace the dirtywaterwithcleanwaterandcar detergent.Washthe backof
the belowthe trunk,areasof the bumper.Move onto the sidesof the car and
washeach side well.Make sure towashthe door handles, mirrors,lights,etc.
Wash the frontbumper,thenthoroughlyrinse all the newly-washedareas.
ix. Dry the car’s surface usingthe chamoiscloth.Wipe all the placeswhereinwater
has dripped.
x. Use a good glasscleanerandabsorbentpapertowelsorsoft,cleantowelsto
washall the windowsandmirrors.Youcan alsouse thisto shine-upthe chrome
enhancementsof the car.
b. Polishing
i. Thoroughlywashthe cars surface first.
ii. Prepare the toolsnecessaryforwaxing:qualitycarwax,soft,small sponge,cloth
rag for waxingin,andanothersetfor removingthe wax.
iii. Applya small amountof wax on the sponge or rag, workingItina back and
forthor circular motion.Workon the car a small sectionata time,startingat
the top.
iv. Whenthe wax hazesinabouta minute ortwo,remove the extrawax usingthe
othercleanrags. Applyalittle pressure indoingso.Then,buff the care tomake
it extrashiny.
c. Protecting
d. Vacuuming
i. Pull outthe floormats and shake outany loose dirt.Use a 4” upholstery
attachmentor the bare hose endtovigorouslyvacuumthe mats.
ii. Start vacuumingfromthe top to the bottom.
iii. Work on the rear upholsteryandcarpet.Pushorremove the seats.Use the
crevice tool tovacuum hard to reachareas such as cracks of the seats,between
seats,andcarpetedareas.
iv. Work on the frontupholstery.Pushall the seatsforwardtovacuumeachnook
and crannyproperly.Don’tforgettovacuum the console,vents,doorpanels,
and otherbuttonswhere dustmayaccumulate,makingthe buttonsuseless.
v. Beat the carpetsto loosenupthe dirtlodgeddeepinthe carpet.Then,vacuum.
