ABSTRACT
The SIMS Software is an application that permits students to compare, tamper and present
student's data in an important manner. The project develops student's information system for the
Intranet Automation of student information management system Software, if School of
ManagementUniversity management does not have a Student information management system
(SIMS), they face many problems specially about wasting time. It is hard to find data and to get any
comment from students or teachers, the system has been to ease good Interaction/ communication
facilities between the Students and administration. In doing so, the project helps a lot in doing faster
duties in UniversitySchool, there are some new ideas like (Bulletin board system (BBs board),
students comment, analysis skill student, dynamical saved record). We need some methods to
complete that system using detailed Unified Modeling Language (UML Diagram), DataFlow
Diagrams and Entity Relationship Diagrams (E-R Diagrams). The web pages about students are
created dynamically based on the student's user ID, user password and links.
Keywords: SIMS, Web Page, UML Diagram, E-R Diagrams, Students' Comments, BBs Board.
1. INTRODUCTION
To improve a software application that supports the application specific to the SIMS
automation in an intranet specific to a School thereby allowing the integration of all the students
pertaining to that organization. To keep track of all the other Class related to that organization such
as Department, development, related between teacher and student with School department etc.

student management information system, we can maximize the use of teaching resources.[2] College
Student management is an important part and measure basis for the level of the college management.
Class management, scar management and so on, the staff will spend considerable time and effort if
manage these manually.[3]Processing and visualization lead to creating a central communication
place/tool - web application.
To allow the SIMS of an organization to update information about the student details
whenever there is a change in the student profile pertaining to that organization. To bring onto a
string the student specific suggestions and make them free to post their requirements to the SIMS
thus bringing the organization more specific regarding the maintenance of the organization. The
SIMS Center includes an overall student’s information in a database, where students can
information, useful information, and more for each student. It comes standard with student selfservice access, allowing students to update their personal information and any comment on any
subject and comment teacher for any students.
- TECHNOLOGY CHOSEN OF (SIMS) DEVELOPMENT
A) Introduction of SQL server
SQL server is a structure of query languages; it is a kind of Database and a common language
for access to databases. It can easily be used especially to create a table, create a new database, delete
the database, enter information into the base, update information, and connect with any software
such as Oracle or Asp.net or VB etc.
B) Introduction of ASP.net
ASP.Net is not a programming language, but a software environment for creating and
building Internet sites. It is a wonderful tool to have what you always impressed, and even fond of
them. Has made you what saves time and effort in building a site attractive, and not only that, but
given you more control over your site in terms of construction, testing and deployment to the outside
world as well as the administration at any stage you.
2. EXISTING SYSTEM
The school Administration falls of controlling the student's activities, analyzing their
strengths and weakness in short duration. The decision for valuation of assigning next project to the
students or to test him/her to get class where lies with proper projection, Herhis is not provided with
the detailed project student's information done or to be assigned based on the application. If there has
done not to activate between student and teacher it will be reason for low-level of scientific,
Dimensions of the relationship between students and teachers.
2.1 PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed SIMS system provides detail general information about the students along with
Educational, SIMS is used for adding, viewing information and updating students’ details and gets
summering reports regarding analyst student’s skill and experience.[5] emphasizes the system's
functionality, database design and functional modules. Suggestions and shared students with e class
and rules in school and always following up a school teacher. The proposed system is assigning
proper masterful hands for the project is a significant issue in SIMS Module. The SIMS
Administrator must report with the personal necessary skills required for the project assignment. The
decision in making analysis about the student’s skills is a prime importance before booting in.

3. DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION
I. DESIGN
Design is the first step to solve any problems, programming and design a special library and
electronic messages and comments posted on the university where the program can colleges publish
their own books on the site and this enable the student to browse books electronically and colleges
can publish messages and treatises teaching.[4] The system design principle, system plan and
structure, the function module of information system according to current university student
information management needs.
To make easier finished any work in any department, design is essentially the bridge between
requirements specification and the final solution.
II. SIMS Database Implementation
Data Services Tier is implemented within a relational database management system (SQL
Server and Asp.net). Our database (named SIMS) treats all operations (creation, saved data, gets
result, User authorization, maintenance and integrity checks). Our database consists of tables,
relationship, Application.
III. SSIS Application Implementation
We implement our Student Information Management System (SIMS) Web application based
on the following main modules:
a) Students Information Module
b) Department Management Module
c) Project Students Module
d) Students Comments Module
e) BBs Board Module
f) Skill Reports Module

4. TESTING
I. TESTING PHASE
We permitted the completion of the system only after it has been thoroughly tested, the test is
to deal with all requests without any denial of service application. At this stage in the implementation
of real-time without any crashes, and therefore can refuse the package even at this stage. Making
sure inquiries sent to the introduction of the expected results of the database.
II. SYSTEM TESTING
Testing is a helps guarantee to input data in our system and get results, work as new data are
added. The proposed system tests in equivalent software that consists of its own phases of analysis,
implementation, testing and maintenance. Make sure our design and functions are correct or not.

III. UNIT TESTING
Each module of the system was tested separately to uncover errors within its boundaries. The
user can use interface a guide in the process.
IV. MODULE TESTING
A module is composed of various programs related to that module. Module testing is done to
check the module functionality and interaction between units within a module.
It checks the functionality of each program with relation to other programs within the same module.
It then tests the overall functionality of each module.
V. IMPLEMENTATION PHASE
The implementation phase in our work in last and important phase. When a production
system done or installed, first need to user training, make sure our model is correct for that system,
ease to use for user, get our point to create our system, user documentation is delivered, then this
phase is completed. Users can test the developed system when changes are made according to the
needs. The testing phase involves the testing of the developed system using various kinds of data.
Testing of data is prepared and system is tested using the test data. The system needed to be plugged
into the network, then it could be accessed from anywhere, after a user logins into the system. The
tasks that had to be done to implement the system is to create the database tables in the organization
database domain. The administrator was granted his role so that the system could be
accessed. Deliverables needs some steps like (User Training, Distributed User Documentation,
Finalized System Documentation, Installed Production System, Post-Implementation Review
Summary, Methodology Compliance Form)
5. CONCLUSION
In this paper, we design tools for Student information management system, and the
development, implementation, and database management system for online universitiesSchools. We
illustrate alternative design techniques and components. We also focus to make a good relationship
between teacher and student to make as in the education system, The system provides an effective
environment contribute to the follow-up basis of the performance of the students during the school
year and helps create an environment in constant communication among students, parents, teachers
and school administration / university. The waste of computer resources, workers, and time
associated with the existing manual system.
This project will provide the student's information management system serves as a useful
approach Database dialog box for the update function, advanced search options to the authorized
person and continuing link between each student and discuss any questions and exchanged the ideas
of students, it serves as a useful approach for users. It reduces the time it takes a user to add, update,
delete, view and search for information.
