The project<br />8.1.2 EXPLORING YOUR IDEAS<br />Name: Humaira Begum 11y<br />Title of ProjectRRR(Reuse, Recycle, Reduce)What is its format?Textiles and photographyWhat is its Purpose?The purpose of my project is to make people aware that you can do different things with recycled materials. Also to make people aware of recycling and it is a good thing.Who is the target audience? Build a profile.People who like to recycle and people that don’t bother recycling. To show them it’s an important thing. Different age groups, young (older teenagers) and old (Over 30s but not elderly people). Also for different ethnic groups and genders because everybody should know about it. How will it be produced?I will be creating my project by hand. I will be using different types of recyclable materials and some thread to make it look nice.What resources are needed?The resources I will need for making my project are recycled materials, mannequin, needle and some thread.What risks are involved?The risks that might be involved are getting poked by the needle, my dress may fall apart, the recycled materials may be sharp and hurt me.How will I overcome these risks?I am going to be using a thimble of my finger to protect myself from getting hurt by the needle. I will manage my time well and take my dress off the mannequin every time I have a break. This way my dress won’t fall apart. I will be extra careful when I am handling sharp materials.What other issues do I need to think about? E.g. budget, time, talent etc.The other issues I will need to think about are the budgeting so I don’t go over my budget. Also I will need to think about managing my time well and creating a timetable, which allows me to schedule the times, I will be creating my project. I need to get advise from professionals and teachers about all the different sewing types. I would like to use them in my final project. <br />
