1. In this subject, there are 4 categories in this module that we were assigned into. Each group shall teamed
up and run the chosen campaign. We are teamed to run a dog adoption campaign for all the stray dogs.
During the campaign, we visited to an dog shelter house which known as Lass Animal's Soul Shelter, LASS
and is located based in Kuala Selangor. They gave us a brief ofwhat LASS do. They gave chances for
others to take right care a dog can make a greatpetfor someone. When a dog is rescued atLASS, they
immediately take itto the vetwhere it is checked for injury and illness, is vaccinated and de-wormed, and
given a full bill of health before being taken to the shelter.
They find that mosttimes it’s the owner that has put in the mosteffort and given the mostlove have the

For the first time of the workshop 9th April 2016, we getto experience taking care ofthe dogs. 23th April
2016, we went to the workshop for the second time and we understood the dogs for adoption even better
than before we run the campaign.
2. We had divided each ofus into 4 main teams to let everyone have the chance to contribute equally for the
dog adoption campaign.Each ofthe team have differentjob scopes which are required differentkind ofskills
to achieve it. The 4 teams and the main job from the start to the end ofthe project.
4 different jobs are listed as below:
1. Social Media Team:
- A group of team in charge of making the eventposters and awareness posters to educate and spread our
campaign for the eventday.
2. Production Team:
- A group ofteam in charge oftaking photographs and video ofthe dogs and then create themed-postcards
to promote the campaign and create a video for this campaign while also possibly raise some funds for the
dog shelter.
3. Pet Shop team:
- A group of team in charge of station themselves ata designated petshop to conductinterviews and also
promote the campaign to the community.
4. Adoption team:
- A group ofteam will accommodate both Desa Park City park and One Utama Central Park on eventdays
to promote our campaign and also, trying to getour dogs adopted.
For this campaign, Iwas involved in adoption team. The main tasks assigned to adoption team were bringing
the dogs to the dog park and spread the awareness ofthis campaign. The campaign started on the 21st and
22nd of May 2016. Throughout the activities we had done during the campaign, we hope that we getto help
the dogs to look for a new shelter for them. During the campaign, we had brought 4 of the dogs from LASS
to the dog parks, Desa Park City park and One Utama Central Park. On the eventday, we broughtthe dogs
to walk around the park and meetnew people with their own dog. Beside, we also broughtaround the event
posters and awareness posters prepared by social media team to let public know about this campaign. We
do this by breaking down misconceptions surrounding shelter pets and communicating that “A person is the
bestthing to happen to a shelter pet. Be that person. Adopt.” Through this campaign, we managed to get
good respond from public, especially all the dog lovers around the park. Moreover, we also sell posters and
badges to raise fund for the LASS to provide all the dogs a better living environmentfor at the animal shelter
house. Through the hard work ofthe event, we managed to get4 - 5 dogs adopted.
