DEWN is world's 1st GSM based Disaster & Emergency Warning Solution. It was designed & developed by Microimage, Dialog Axiata and University of Moratuwa (UoM-Dialog Research Lab). It's one of the solution to initially experiment and implement CAP (Common Alerting Protocol). DEWN is currently deployed with Disaster Management Centre of Sri Lankan Government. It's used for disaster & emergency alerting on daily basis. DEWN V2 will debut this year with more enhanced features such as DEWN API, DEWN Smart Phone Apps.
