PURPOSE & SCOPE
The Finance Manager is responsible for finance reports, cash management, and assist in budget
forecasting and strategic planning for the long term-goals of the company.
DUTIES:
1. Direct, oversee and manage all accounting, bookkeeping and financial roles that
contribute to the effective operation and administration.
2. Compilation of budgets and cash-flow forecast
3. Management reports on monthly and ad hoc basis
4. Maintaining contact with all Functional Managers
5. Liaising with auditors and company executives
6. Provide monthly Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss report.
7. Arrange annually an external audit agency to facilitate delivery of annual audit
report in a timely and professional manner.
8. Review service costs and service quality, recommending more efficient and cost
effective ways to handle suppliers and creditor accounts.
9. Develop in consultation with Line Managers the annual operating budget.
10. Oversee auditing of supplier invoices against company raised purchase orders.
11. Ensure adherence to IFRS, IAS and local accounting and legal requirements.
2. Skills
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of financial and
commercial management
-3-4 years of professional experience at Management level
Experience in management and development of accounting systems and -
associated IT systems
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from a - university of repute and professional
qualifications in CPA/ACCA/CA
- Experience within the UAE
