Question: In what color light do plants grow best?
Procedure: Take four cardboard boxes and cut out the sides, leaving the frame of each box intact. Place
one plant inside each box and a different color of cellophane (red, yellow, green and blue) to cover each
box. Each day, water all of the plants with 25 ml water. Measure the height of each plant each day and
record any changes in growth. After two weeks, repeat the experiment.
