Brooklyn Heights Business Park Designated as Fiber Ready
Designation reflects presence of fiber-based, high-speed internet
BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, Ohio (June 2, 2017) — AT&T1 is joining the village of Brooklyn Heights
to announce that the Valley Business Park has been designated AT&T Fiber Ready. This
designation is part of AT&T’s continuing efforts to drive economic development and
investment in Ohio.
“The Ohio legislature is committed to ensuring that innovators, entrepreneurs, and our
fellow citizens have every opportunity to succeed in our state,” said State Representative
Nick Celebrezze. “AT&T’s Fiber Ready designation now makes this business park more
competitive, and will spur the type of job creation and growth that will continue to make
our part of the state flourish.”
“When a business is considering a new location, company leadership often considers more
than roads, water, sewer, gas and electricity. Many of them want to know if there is fiber
available at the site,” said Brooklyn Heights Mayor Michael Procuk. “The AT&T Fiber Ready
designation gives us a valuable new tool that can help us attract more employers to our
area.”

AT&T Fiber Ready designation provides a new tool for economic development leaders.
Using it, they can emphasize that fiber-based connections are available at these locations.
