AT&T EXPANDS MOBILE INTERNET NETWORK IN SOUTH POINT,
SCOTTOWN
Local Wireless Network Upgrade Extends Access to Advanced Products,
Services and Applications
HUNTINGTON, WV, Feb. 21, 2013 — AT&T* today announced the expansion of its mobile Internet
network in South Point and Scottown, Ohio, extending access for advanced mobile services, devices
and applications to customers along State Route 243 from Proctorville to South Point as well as State
Route 775 from Proctorville to Scottown.
―Investments in mobile Internet technologies foster economic growth in areas like small business, high-
tech manufacturing, health care and education,‖ said State Representative Ryan Smith. ―This
investment is especially important to consumers and businesses in southern Ohio who are working
hard to rebuild our state’s economy.‖
