Upper Sandusky Business Park Designated as Fiber Ready
Designation reflects presence of fiber-based, high-speed internet
UPPER SANDUSKY, Ohio (Feb. 17, 2017) — AT&T1 is joining Upper Sandusky community
leaders to announce that the Columbus-Toledo Midway Industrial Park has been designated
AT&T Fiber Ready. This designation is part of AT&T’s continuing efforts to drive economic
development and investment in Ohio.
“The Ohio legislature is committed to ensuring that innovators, entrepreneurs, and our
fellow citizens have every opportunity to succeed in our state,” said State Representative
Wes Goodman. “AT&T’s Fiber Ready designation now makes this business park more
competitive, and will spur the type of job creation and growth that will continue to make
our part of the state flourish.”
“Access to reliable high-speed internet is one of the top concerns for job creators seeking to
expand and invest in our communities,” said Upper Sandusky Mayor Scott Washburn. “We
applaud this effort to improve accessibility in order to retain and create new, good-paying
jobs in Ohio's 21st Century economy.”
AT&T has been deploying high-speed fiber-optic infrastructure across Ohio for years. The
AT&T Fiber Ready designation provides a new tool for economic development leaders.
Using it, they can emphasize that fiber-based connections are available at these locations.

available at the site,” said Wyandot County Office of Economic Development Executive
