● Navarre is one of the richest Regions in Spain. The
unemployment rate stood at 10.2% in 2017 and was
the lowest in the country.

Navarra has a gross domestic product (GDP) of
€19,018m, which is the highest since 2009.
According to INE,
the main sectors contributing to the GDP are the
following (year 2015):
• Farming and stockbreeding1: 3.2% of the GDP; 12,015
workers
• Industry: 31.5% of the GDP; 63,665 workers.
• Construction:5.3% of the GDP; 15,513 workers.
• Services: 60.0% of the GDP; 186,875 workers.

the region’s industrial structure. There is also a significant
presence of productive plants belonging to multinational
corporations.

Agricultural prices Falled a 0.2%.
Behind this fall in the prices of primary products,is
the effect of a high world productionthat has been
added to a limited demand from large importers,
such as China.

The irigation hectares didn´t changed in 23 years.
The non-irigated hectares went down but then it went
up again.
The pasture hectares growed as much as the forestal
hectares.

Navarre is Lacturale.
Lacturale is a bussines specialiced in dairy products
such as milk , yogurts, chesse…
It was founded in 2005 and it´s headquarters in the
locality of Echeverri in Navarre

-It includes all the activities related to the
transformation of the resource of nature, such as
handmade and manufacturing industries.
It also includes the building sector.
-The secondary sector has a great importance in the
navarre´s economy. The 40% of the population works
in this sector: 31% works in the industry and the 9%
works in the construction.
13. History of the secondary sector
-The process of industrialization started to rise in
1960. Until this time, there were few enterprises.
-In 1964, it was made the Industrial Programmation ,
which consisted in the creation of industrial estates.
-They were located in different towns in navarre, such
as Pamplona,Tudela,Tafalla….

They are classified in 3 groups:
-Basics: Iron,Steel and Metallurgy industry.

during the end of the 19th century, it began to be seen productive
to the economy.

● In this century, the tertiary sector was growing
up very fast, but it was disrupted by the civil war
and the postwar period

First sector
This is the most important sector in navarre
because we have a very rich land for cultivation
and a good weather for vegetables. Navarre is
one of the most important exporters in spain of
vegetables.

Secondary sector
This is a very important sector because we can
say that this bussines sustain navarre. We have a
big bussines called volkswagen. Many people
work there or in factories that export thing to
volkswagen. Appart from this Navarre is one of
the most important comunities because we have
factories almost in every village here.

Tertiary sector
This sector is one of the most recently sector in
navarre. This sector is very powerful in private
health and rural tourism. We also have got a party
called San Fermin that give us a lot of money.
