Make sure you have admin privileges on both source help
desk and Service Cloud accounts.
Create agent accounts in Service Cloud, make sure they have
“Modify all data” permission and the same email as in the
source help desk.
Create necessary custom fields in Service Cloud of the same
type as in the source platform to be able to match them up.
If you have any active Triggers, Validation Rules and
Workflow Automations disable them before the migration.
Enable audit fields to import Created, Updated and Closed at
dates.

Connect your
source account
Choose your current help desk
from the list of available
platforms and provide the
necessary credentials.
They are different for each
platform. So, if you have any
difficulties finding the required
access credentials, check out
our Knowledge Base for
instructions.

Connect your Salesforce
Service Cloud account
Next you need to log into your
Service Cloud account. Check the
Sandbox instance box if you want
to migrate your data to sandbox
first.
If not, keep the box unchecked
and click Continue.

Choose the information
you need to migrate
Check the boxes to select the data
you want to export. Click Map
Fields to match up ticket fields.
Once you’re done matching, click
Save mapping to save your
settings.
Click Continue to start the trial
migration.

Test the migration
Once you’ve mapped ticket fields, start your
Free Demo Migration. This will import 20
tickets to Service Cloud for you to check the
quality of the export and see if there are any
issues with the data. Here’s how you can check
the result of your migration to Salesforce
Service Cloud.
You can restart the Demo Migration as many
times as you need.

WHEN YOU’RE READY
If you’re ready to import all data to
Service Cloud, then proceed to the
payment.
Once the payment is complete, you can
start the Full Migration*.
*You need to manually initiate the migration in your
Help Desk Migration account.
