Burglary Case Summary
Two people have been charged with burglary in separate cases. Bradley Metcalf, alias Bradley
Crane, 22, of Scottsbluff, has been charged with burglary, a Class IIA felony. According to an arrest
affidavit, Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's deputies were called to a rural home on Canyon Drive on
Oct. 20. The owner of the home reported that two Hispanic men had been inside the home and left
the area. The resident told deputies he had come home, walking through the front door, which was
locked. When he went into the kitchen area, he said he heard a noise coming from the bedroom
areas. He turned around to see one man come out of a bedroom area and out the front door. A second
man also fled the residence. The man said that he made eye contact with ... Show more content on

However, it did appear that the items had been readied to be stolen, with a duffle bag having been
stashed with ammo, and an automatic rifle and ballistic vest located on a floor. Later, the home
owner said a magazine for a firearm had been stolen. Cash was also reported stolen. Metcalf is next
scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 5. In another case, Amber Camacho, 30, of Scottsbluff, has
been charged with burglary, a Class IIA felony. She is accused of burglarizing a storage unit in the
1000 block of West 26th Street. According to an arrest affidavit, police arrested Camacho on Nov.
25. Police made contact with Camacho after arrest a man, Michael Graves, who had fled as an
officer was doing a routine night check of storage units. The man fell after running several feet and
police made contact with him. Graves, who police knew had dated Camacho, denied burglarizing
the unit, but said he had been assisting Camacho with removing items from the unit and placing
them in a van. A van parked in front of the storage units had been previously tied to Camacho and
was towed from the scene as evidence. The van was loaded with several

Summary: Identifying The Victim
I was walking my dog Max when he stopped and started sniffing and digging around. I thought
nothing about it and kept going. But Max wouldn't come, he started digging and pulled out a bone. I
thought it was just a dog bone but when I looked at it I realised it was a human bone that was
buried.
Dr. Billy Bass says in an article called "Dead men talking" that the first step is to examine the crime
and see what the scene tells you. I looked around and decided to call the police to help. They came
out and started digging up more bones. As a forensic anthropologist I started looking at the bones.
Dr. Billy Bass states that bones can look arthritic and these bones looked very young and had no
signs of arthritis. I concluded the person was probably ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I decided I would find that next. I first looked at the pelvis and it was wide and shallow which is
usually how a female's pelvis would look but just to be sure I looked at the collarbone and that was
short leading to female again so I concluded it was indeed a female skeleton.
I then noticed there was a fracture in one leg. That narrowed the choices at the missing database to
43 people. But then I spotted the girl had a screw in her left elbow with a barcode of 23935 and I
have worked in South Dakota long enough to know that 23 were all patients from Sanford hospital.
So I went there and talked to Dr. Anderson.
"Well it looks like we have 4 females in their 20–30s who got a screw in their elbow," Dr. Anderson
said. The only problem is that there is only 2 people in the missing database center. So I figured out
the person was not reported missing and I started facial reconstruction.
In the article "Giving Faces to the Lost" They explain the Russian method where you build muscles
under the skin and the American method where you just put the skin on the skull. I decided to use
the American method would be best for this situation. I rebuilt the skin. Then using computer
scanning I made many different hairstyles and features so someone can recognize this

A Tense Atmosphere in the Opening Scenes of The Matrix Essay
A Tense Atmosphere in the Opening Scenes of The Matrix
There is a sense of mystery created in the opening scenes of 'The Matrix'. One of these things is the
alternating green digits at the very start. The viewer is not aware what is happening, and then one by
one the columns of numbers stop alternating and fix on one number, creating a tense atmosphere as
the viewer is unsure what numbers will be shown, or what will happen once they have stopped. This
is enigmatic as the viewer does not know what this number signifies or what the green digits are
there for. The dialogue between two people on the phone is also used to create a gripping
atmosphere as they begin to talk about killing somebody, but the ... Show more content on

Sound is used in the beginning of 'The Matrix', during the alternating digits scene, as a way of
gripping the viewer. As the digits are quickly changing a keyboard can be heard typing, as thought
somebody is typing the digits. This grips the viewers as it makes them wonder why somebody
would be typing these digits, and what their purpose in the film is. The scene after this, the police
scene, has no sound, apart from one loud bang as the door is kicked down. This has created a
gripping atmosphere as the silence shows that the police do not want anyone else to know that they
are there, and the kicking of the door makes the viewer jump, as they are not expecting such a loud
noise after so much silence.
The pace of the opening scene of 'The Matrix' scene also creates a tense gripping atmosphere. It is a
very fast paced sequence, quickly moving from a phone conversation with two people to the police
breaking down a door and pointing a gun at the head of a woman on a computer. As the police aim
at the woman, there is a stillness which creates a tense atmosphere, as the viewer is unsure who will
make the first move, and they are waiting for something to happen.
In the open sequence of 'The Matrix' uses different camera shots to create tension and a griping
atmosphere. It begins with a close–up of one of the police officer's face. The camera then rotates

The Shadows : A Short Story
Late at night in an apartment Kayla was in her room reading a book called the Shadows. She was all
alone. Her parents went out to get dinner but then it started to storm hard and the parents were still
out getting dinner. So she was there alone she sometimes liked to stay alone but sometimes she
thought it was a little scary. The fun part is she gets to do whatever she wanted but the scary part is
that she doesn't have her parents to help her so she would have to help herself if there is any danger.
But there has not been any danger that she has been in. She was staying there alone but if she was in
danger she knows what to do because her parents told her what to do over and over so she can keep
it in her head and the rules were that you have to either fight or escape to the closest house and call
the police she never had to do that before but she has been practicing with her parents for a while so
she knew what to do and so she has it in her head at all times. While she was reading the lights went
off, then back on again she gasped. Kayla looks up and she hears something from outside of her
room but she doesn't go out to check she just sits up on her bed and pulled her blanket up when she
was done she just kept reading. A little bit later she heard the laundry room door shut, then she got
up to open her bedroom door and nothing was there. So she went back to her room and turned on
her television and started watching some episodes of The Walking Dead. While she was watching it
she heard a squeak by the front door she turns the television down and gets up to get her flashlight
and goes to check if there is anything out there. "Is anybody there?" she yelled nobody answers so
she ran to her room and she turned her television back up a little bit but just a little in case she heard
something again. She went out to the kitchen to get a snack but then she noticed that there was only
an apple so she just took the apple and went back to her room shut the door and sat on her bed and
ate it. When she was done with the apple she went back to the kitchen to get some water. When she
was about to walk back to her room she heard something by the kitchen so she went to go see but

Roxanne: What Makes Our Community Better?
It is a sunny afternoon in 1996 , April 21, San Diego, California. Julie Barnes has just graduated
from The San Diego Police Academy. Ever since Julie was seven years old, she wanted to become a
police officer. When she was just seven years old, she had lost her favorite stuffed animal. The
police brought it back to her and when she saw the police, she wanted to be one. Julie said " WOW!!
Who are you?", the police chuckled, then said, "I am someone who makes our community safer."
The morning of May 30, at 9:27 AM, the family was leaving for a vacation to Hawaii, Julie's
grandparents lived there. She was extremely excited, Julie and Roxanne couldn't wait to go
snorkeling, scuba diving, sand castle making, and much more. That morning, everything ... Show

At the dinner table, Roxanne told the family about what it was like being kidnapped. She told them
that it sure gave her a boost to her life. As Roxanne grew older, she was still with the shop owner,
she started to realize that he was using her to commit more `crime. She said that these criminal acts
consisted of: robbery, theft, cyber theft, cyber hate, and many more things. Roxanne said "I wanted
to run away and find my real family, but I had no idea where you guys were". Every night Roxanne
would go to bed thinking should I run or should I stay. She always chose to stay, because she didn't
know where her family was and she didn't want to get lost. One night, when the shop owner had
gone to sleep, Roxanne went up to his room to double check and decided to try and escape. She had
finally built up the strength to run away, she stepped outside, heard an intimidating noise stepped
back inside and decided she didn't want to run away any more. The next morning, the shop owner
asked her why she was trying to run away, she was terrified. She thought to herself, " How does he

Personal Narrative Essay : The Day That Day In My Life
That Day
As I walk out the door all alone... Thud Thud I hear loud footsteps like someone was walking
towards me. I turned around and all I saw were the leaves falling off the trees and pure silence. I tell
myself I'm hallucinating. I look to my front and start walking. A mysterious man was walking
towards me. He was dressed in all black from head to toe. With his black sunglasses on, I couldn't
tell if he was looking at me. I started to shiver but he passed me. I suddenly turned around to see if
he was looking back at me. But he wasn't there anymore. I started wondering if all the things I saw
were just hallucinations. At that moment I heard a loud scream. I thought it sounded like a girl. I
immediately took my phone out and began dialing 911. I turn around not knowing what to do and I
see the man holding a baseball bat. Then everything went blank.
Unaware, the lady who lives in the house in front of me, came out the door and called 911. As I
open my eyes I see myself in a hospital, no clue of what happened. The police came in through the
door and asked me to tell them about everything that happened that day. I started shaking, shouting
NO NO NO! "Excuse me, you are causing trauma. You may talk to my patient after she is
discharged." The doctor said in a stern voice. After a few weeks I was discharged. No one was there
to take care of me. My mom was at Hawaii for a month

Case Analysis : Michael Brown
"On August 9, 2014 at 11:51 a.m., a 9–1–1 call from a convenience store alerted police about a
robbery, in progress. CCTV had pictures of Michael Brown as the suspect of the robbery. At 11:52
a.m., a suspect was spotted near petrol station. At 12:00 p.m. officer Darren Wilson responds to call
and leaves a nearby home where he had been responding to an emergency call about a sick child. At
12:01 p.m. officer Wilson encounters Michael Brown, but not in regards to the robbery, but to
walking down the middle of the street stopping traffic. At 12:01–12:04 p.m. Michael Brown shot
dead, details unknown" (BBC News). People like to bring up the fact that Michael Brown was an
unarmed black person and that the officer, that shot him, was a white police officer. Now days you
have to bring skin color into the situation because "it matters" what skin color you are, when in
reality it does not matter. I believe that everyone was created equal. It should not matter if the
person who got shot was white, black, purple or green and if the shooter was white, black, Hispanic,
or sparkly. EVERYONE IS EQUAL. We are all apart of one race and that is the human race. The
New York Times states the fatal incident like this, "There is an altercation between Officer Wilson
and Mr. Brown, who is standing at the window of the vehicle. Officer Wilson fires two shots from
inside the vehicle, one likely grazing Mr. Brown's thumb, and the other missing him. Mr. Brown
runs east. Officer Wilson

"Texas mother of three is arrested for 'helping cover up double murder by cleaning up bloody gun
safe after teacher husband fatally shot two neighbors after Halloween party'" 1. what problem, issue,
or topic about deviance is being formulated? The problem being formulated is that a man committed
murder and his wife allegedly helped him cover it up by hiding the weapon and cleaning the blood
off of the gun safe as per her husband's request. 2. what claims are being made about the
phenomenon? The claim being made about this phenomenon is that the woman should be arrested as
she is considered an accomplice to the crime. Also that the woman went against societal norms in
order to protect her husband. 3. where is the problem? The crime happened ... Show more content

I believe the woman committed a deviant act, because she did not abide by the law due to her
personal involvement with the suspect. I believe society has these laws in order to make sure
victims receive justice for their crimes as soon as possible. If anyone were to tamper with the crime
scene that could drastically impact whether a murder case is solved or not. I believe since the
woman later admitted to what she did wrong she is beginning to make the right decisions and trying
to make up for her mistake. I believe that the woman chose to act counternormatively because of her
internal desire for her husband to be

The Police: Guiding the Youth of a Generation Essay
The Police were a huge success in their abilities to influence and survive in a society of climatic
endeavors. Throughout the Soviet onslaught in the 1980's and the Arab oil wars in the 70's, the
music industry has thrived from the variety of conflicts around the globe. Soon after the Space age,
The Police put out a popular song titled, "Message in a Bottle", this song defined the bands culture
with its unique definition pertaining to the climate of the world at that time. More importantly,
influential music from that band produced a great change in society from their music – with only
five–thousand words, twenty–five songs, three people, and one band – who changed it all.

band was blessed to get this opportunity as later known because the blond hair became a trade mark
of the band. The band's first album was a hardship for them; they had a small studio and low budget,
provided by Copeland's older brother, Miles. Later that year in 1978, Miles heard the song Roxanne
and graced them with a record deal from A&M Records, this song was later banned along with
another song, "Can't Stand Losing You", from their first album, Outlandos d'Amour, because they
portrayed vulgar topics. Regatta de Blanc, their second album was a major success across Europe,
topping the charts for almost four weeks and producing two best sellers, "Message in a Bottle' and
"Walking on the Moon" This album debuted in 1979, The Polices first world tour followed. Later in
1980 The Police released their third album, Zenyatta Mondatta. This album contained the songs
"Don't Stand so Close to Me" and "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da". The only other albums they
produced were "Ghost in the Machine" (1981) and "Synchronicity" (1983). The Police were unable
to play together after that due to Copeland breaking his collarbone he was unable to play the drums.
From this unfortunate event comes a new light, as each of the three members went on to host
successful solo careers. Many years later in 2007 The Police promised to hold a reunion tour. Some

The Knots: A Narrative Fiction
Prologue
Knots tied deep inside Trevor's empty stomach as firm knuckles met the front door. The knock was
all too familiar. Michelle stared at him with bulging eyes–the same look she'd worn whenever
someone came to the door during the past eight weeks. Life had been nothing short of hell.
Being closest to the window, he glanced over his shoulder through the white blinds and saw two
formally dressed men on the porch. A strong sense of dread threatened to overwhelm every part of
his body. His eyes climbed up towards their expressionless faces. Standing there were the
detectives–but they didn't wear the same optimism they had for the last two months. Optimism that
Michelle and himself had latched onto. Something was wrong.

of tears.
He huddled up to Michelle, and they both leaned into each other and broke down. Salty tears and
hot breaths soon became soothing, offering them a strange sense of solace.
"Why is this happening to us? Why? What have we done so wrong to deserve all this? We weren't
bad parents, were we?" All he could see in their cradled darkness was Michelle's puffy face and
eyes.
Detective Gerald stepped towards them and knelt down. "I promise you two, I will do all I can to
keep that sick son of a bitch inside the jail cell. When he does get released, it won't be for long." He
put his hand on both their shoulders before retrieving a business card from his shirt pocket. "You
know where I am if you need me. I'm sorry for the bad news. I truly am," he said in a flat tone.
Trevor heard the detectives leave the house, shutting the door quietly behind them. The small family
home, once so happy, returned to its increasingly familiar gloom. He tightened his grip around
Michelle and kissed her flustered forehead.
"What are we going to do?" She dug for tissues that weren't

and instead of keeping the list they ended up selling it to the press and this is how she got the
nickname "foxy knoxy." The police also gave her a book to write down anything and it was her
diary. They also sold that to the press. Although Amanda never had a disease the police just wanted
to harass her. This indicates that outside and inside the prison she is being harassed by the people
and not being able to defend herself makes it seem really heartbreaking for the audience to witness
and it's to make the audience feel for her and believe she didn't do anything wrong. As all the trials
continue she was kept being found guilty until she came for an appeal and she was found not guilty
because the evidence was so small she was finally free. The audience target was to feel proud of her
that she's finally free. At that moment it showed Meredith's family in

Clawd's Injustice: A Narrative Fiction
However, within the space of thirty minutes, Clawd found out what Valentine had done, called
together those involved in the investigation, and drove to Valentine's house in Jackson's car. Once
the car pulled into the driveway, Clawd jumped out and ran to the door with Clawdeen and
Draculaura following him. "Don't kill him, Clawd!" Draculaura tugged on his sleeve nervously.
"Please, don't hurt him." Clawd simply growled low, ringing the door bell and glaring at the door.
Moments later, Vampira answered, looking rather confused. "What are you doing here?" she asked,
quirking an eyebrow. "Do you need something?" "Is Valentine here!?" Clawdeen asked, getting right
in Vampira's face. Vampira pushed the she wolf away, looking alarmed. "No, he's ... Show more

If anyone needs to be punished, it's Eris." The car pulled in behind the hotel, and the group of
friends got out. Clawd walked around to the front, seeing the door was chained shut. "Well, they've
learned," he mumbled, looking for a way to get in. Jackson showed up, and gently pushed Clawd
aside. "I'll try to get in first," he explained. "I'm on good terms with some of the residents here." He
knocked on the door a few times, and then began to call. "Dodi? Graverobber? Tessa? Anyone?"
After a few moments, a window right above them opened, and Graverobber called down, "Yo!
Jackson, up here! Try to climb up here, use the awning!" Very cautiously, Jackson climbed on the
dumpster and tried not to fall in. He managed to climb on the awning and, with help from
Graverobber, successfully entered the building through the window. As Jackson caught his breath,
Graverobber explained, "We had to chain up the entrance because Eris didn't like getting visitors she

Amanda Beep Narrative
"Beep, Beep, Beep" goes Amanda Newell's alarm clock. Groggily, she looked at her clock and
jumped right out of bed. It was 8:30, the bus comes at 8:40, she would never board the bus on time!
Amanda put on her school uniform, ate breakfast, and brushed her teeth as fast as she could but she
was too late. When she was running down her driveway, she saw the bus driving away. With no
choice left, she was running down the sidewalk going as fast as her legs would take her.
Consequently, she was not looking down and tripped over a branch. She crashed onto the ground
and saw a massive bloody bruise forming on her knee. She said, "Darn it, my Mom is going to kill
me!" Not knowing later that her mom's disapproval of her bruise was the least of her problems. ...

Their expressions turned from grim sadness to utter joy. Paul spoke up first pointing north and said,
"The footprints are heading over there!" Everyone headed over to Paul following the trail. It took
over an hour until the footprints stopped right at a doorstep to an immense 3 story house. In their

Through a loudspeaker a police officer said, "David Plume please get out of the house and no one

police officer shouted again, "If you do not come down here we will use force!" There was no

The police and the detectives looked everywhere. Rooms, under tables, the garage, the backyard

You and Oikawa walked into the crime scene, under the police tape, to face a crowded group of
police and other detectives crowded around a solitary body on the ground. The victim was identified
as Yui Watanabe, a 40 year old woman.
You dug inside of your tan coat to grab your white glove as you bent down to scrutinize Yui's body.
You examined her head and neck. Her neck area was swollen. "It seems she had trouble breathing."

Descriptive Essay On An Abandoned House
"Hurry or you'll be late!" called my mother from the bottom of the stairs. "Today of all days you
want to be on time." If I had only known what that day would bring, I would have stayed in bed. But
one thing my mom didn't know was that my friends and I skipped school to go look at an abandoned
house. The house was also supposedly haunted.I met up with my friends at the bus stop as usual.
Once everyone was at the bus stop, we ran as fast as we could to the abandoned house. So we
wouldn't get caught be the bus driver or anyone else.
Once we ran for a short amount of time we finally saw the rundown house in the distance. Once we
got a little closer we saw a brown fence blocking our path. We walked around the fence until we
found a small opening. It was just big enough for us to get through. Once we all got through the
fence we could barely see the house, because the grass and weeds were so tall. We pushed our way
through the weeds and grass and finally made it to the back of the house. We tried to look through
the filthy windows, but they were boarded up. Before I opened the door, I asked everybody "Do we
really want to do this?" Alexis being the brave one said "Just do it." Jada is the scared one asked
"Are we really going to do this?" And me being the curious one I wanted to see what was inside the
house. Once we got in the house we felt a cold burst of air.
We started walking around the dark and gloomy house with our phone flashlights on. We stopped in
are tracked when we heard a noise coming from the back of the house. We started walking towards
the back of the crummy house until we saw a dark figure walking towards the stairs. Jada saw the
dark figure and froze. Alexis and I had to pull her into the dirty closet so the figure wouldn't see us.
When we thought the coast was clear we peaked out the closet to see if the figure was still there.
While we were in the closet, my shoe made an obnoxious noise on the I ground. Terror filled inside
me when I heard the creaky footsteps of the figure. When we heard the footsteps get louder and

As a forensic anthropologist I started looking at the bones.

usually how a female's pelvis would look but just to be sure I looked at the collarbone and that was

Anderson.

My Experience With Domestic Violence
The Unexpected.
Many times we see situations on television, movies or soap operas that we never think they can
happen to us. Being present during a violent situation is a very unpleasant and life scarring
experience. I'm going to tell my experience with domestic violence using diction, tone and imagery.
It was Thursday, December 20th 2012. I remember the exact date because it was the day before my
15th birthday. It was winter and that day it had snowed. My mother and I went to pick up my little
sister from the babysitter and headed home. We followed our daily routine, we cooked dinner, did
the dishes and took a bath. I was with my mother and my little sister in my mother's room watching
the "Novela" (Spanish soap opera) when we heard someone trying to open the door. It was my
stepfather. He had a hard time opening the door, he was at a level of drunkenness that it was
impossible for him to find the right key. The funny part about everything is that he ... Show more

One of my neighbors asked me what was going on and I only asked her to call the police. He then
said nothing was wrong that it only was a rage attack and we went back into the apartment. After 10
minutes of being inside the apartment we were all sitting on the living room, my mother still crying
my little sister looking around, and my stepfather laying on the couch as if what he did was
something normal. We heard the bell and it was the police. Somehow he managed to convince them
that it was only a couples fight and that nothing was going on. We all went to sleep. My mother
sleep with my little sister and I in our bedroom and we waited for him to leave to work. We packed
two bags and headed to my aunt's house. We later that afternoon went to the police precinct and
filled a restraining order. We waited a week before we returned home and when we did we already

Gun-Personal Narrative
"Uhh...nooo not at all" says Mark

I looked at the police officer and he has the eyes of fury. He looked at us like we're some kind of
fugitive. "You know our country does not allow citizens to go inside abandoned house, you four are
in a lot of trouble" the officer says
"Why....because Robert Dicko doesn't want us to see dead bodies in those houses, what he's doing is
crazy and you guys follow his rules... you should stand up for the country like you're supposed to
OFFICER"marks says rudely, and at that moment I knew mark just messed up we are not allowed to
talk back to the superior .
"Let me explain to what my job means to me" the officer explains
"It's hard trying to protect this country and protect my family from the attack....you...you thinks its

Personal Narrative: David Ray's Murder
The morning of September 17, 1996 in Louisiana changed my life forever. I was skimming through
the daily Gambit when he came in. Mr. Callahan, the local policeman, walked into my office,
holding a paper that was dated from this Friday. "Another day, another mystery," announced the
policeman. He threw the paper in his hand at me, as if it were a frisbee. The ink on the wrinkled
paper gave all the needed information. "Scene of Crime: The Frederick Mansion, VICTIM: Jack
Frederick, SUSPECTS: Commander Patrisce, Robert Young, and David Ray, CASE: Murder."
Instantly, I spat out my Earl–Grey Tea in bewilderment. Jack Frederick, the billionaire and
entrepreneur, dead? In a flash, I went to my car and rushed to the scene. Once I arrived to the
mansion, I was greeted by the other policemen and the other local detectives. I walked into the ...

Young," I resumed, "last night, I found some pictures from Mr. Frederick's childhood. The pictures
showed Jack and Young building and inventing together, watching baseball, and so much more
together. I believe that Mr. Young murdered Frederick because Frederick got greedy and took all of
their inventions to make money for only himself. Also, Young murdered Frederick for leaving him
in the dust and not letting him get any glory. To back up my theory, I read a letter that Mr. Frederick
was writing to his biography author and Frederick told the author, "...the more information you
write, the better and the more money we can get!", which tells me that Mr. Frederick was a very
greedy man and that he would steal other people's' things to become rich. To support my theory, I
noticed that Mr. Young ran when I called him here. That little detail told me that he tried to conserve
the amount of places where his fingerprints would show, but I got the fingerprint anyway because
when I shook each of your hands, I swapped out my glove. As you can see from my clues, Mr.
Young is guilty of Jack Frederick's death while revenge was his

Burglary Case Summary

  • 1. Burglary Case Summary Two people have been charged with burglary in separate cases. Bradley Metcalf, alias Bradley Crane, 22, of Scottsbluff, has been charged with burglary, a Class IIA felony. According to an arrest affidavit, Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's deputies were called to a rural home on Canyon Drive on Oct. 20. The owner of the home reported that two Hispanic men had been inside the home and left the area. The resident told deputies he had come home, walking through the front door, which was locked. When he went into the kitchen area, he said he heard a noise coming from the bedroom areas. He turned around to see one man come out of a bedroom area and out the front door. A second man also fled the residence. The man said that he made eye contact with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, it did appear that the items had been readied to be stolen, with a duffle bag having been stashed with ammo, and an automatic rifle and ballistic vest located on a floor. Later, the home owner said a magazine for a firearm had been stolen. Cash was also reported stolen. Metcalf is next scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 5. In another case, Amber Camacho, 30, of Scottsbluff, has been charged with burglary, a Class IIA felony. She is accused of burglarizing a storage unit in the 1000 block of West 26th Street. According to an arrest affidavit, police arrested Camacho on Nov. 25. Police made contact with Camacho after arrest a man, Michael Graves, who had fled as an officer was doing a routine night check of storage units. The man fell after running several feet and police made contact with him. Graves, who police knew had dated Camacho, denied burglarizing the unit, but said he had been assisting Camacho with removing items from the unit and placing them in a van. A van parked in front of the storage units had been previously tied to Camacho and was towed from the scene as evidence. The van was loaded with several ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. Summary: Identifying The Victim I was walking my dog Max when he stopped and started sniffing and digging around. I thought nothing about it and kept going. But Max wouldn't come, he started digging and pulled out a bone. I thought it was just a dog bone but when I looked at it I realised it was a human bone that was buried. Dr. Billy Bass says in an article called "Dead men talking" that the first step is to examine the crime and see what the scene tells you. I looked around and decided to call the police to help. They came out and started digging up more bones. As a forensic anthropologist I started looking at the bones. Dr. Billy Bass states that bones can look arthritic and these bones looked very young and had no signs of arthritis. I concluded the person was probably ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I decided I would find that next. I first looked at the pelvis and it was wide and shallow which is usually how a female's pelvis would look but just to be sure I looked at the collarbone and that was short leading to female again so I concluded it was indeed a female skeleton. I then noticed there was a fracture in one leg. That narrowed the choices at the missing database to 43 people. But then I spotted the girl had a screw in her left elbow with a barcode of 23935 and I have worked in South Dakota long enough to know that 23 were all patients from Sanford hospital. So I went there and talked to Dr. Anderson. "Well it looks like we have 4 females in their 20–30s who got a screw in their elbow," Dr. Anderson said. The only problem is that there is only 2 people in the missing database center. So I figured out the person was not reported missing and I started facial reconstruction. In the article "Giving Faces to the Lost" They explain the Russian method where you build muscles under the skin and the American method where you just put the skin on the skull. I decided to use the American method would be best for this situation. I rebuilt the skin. Then using computer scanning I made many different hairstyles and features so someone can recognize this ... • 3. A Tense Atmosphere in the Opening Scenes of The Matrix Essay A Tense Atmosphere in the Opening Scenes of The Matrix There is a sense of mystery created in the opening scenes of 'The Matrix'. One of these things is the alternating green digits at the very start. The viewer is not aware what is happening, and then one by one the columns of numbers stop alternating and fix on one number, creating a tense atmosphere as the viewer is unsure what numbers will be shown, or what will happen once they have stopped. This is enigmatic as the viewer does not know what this number signifies or what the green digits are there for. The dialogue between two people on the phone is also used to create a gripping atmosphere as they begin to talk about killing somebody, but the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Sound is used in the beginning of 'The Matrix', during the alternating digits scene, as a way of gripping the viewer. As the digits are quickly changing a keyboard can be heard typing, as thought somebody is typing the digits. This grips the viewers as it makes them wonder why somebody would be typing these digits, and what their purpose in the film is. The scene after this, the police scene, has no sound, apart from one loud bang as the door is kicked down. This has created a gripping atmosphere as the silence shows that the police do not want anyone else to know that they are there, and the kicking of the door makes the viewer jump, as they are not expecting such a loud noise after so much silence. The pace of the opening scene of 'The Matrix' scene also creates a tense gripping atmosphere. It is a very fast paced sequence, quickly moving from a phone conversation with two people to the police breaking down a door and pointing a gun at the head of a woman on a computer. As the police aim at the woman, there is a stillness which creates a tense atmosphere, as the viewer is unsure who will make the first move, and they are waiting for something to happen. In the open sequence of 'The Matrix' uses different camera shots to create tension and a griping atmosphere. It begins with a close–up of one of the police officer's face. • 4. The Shadows : A Short Story Late at night in an apartment Kayla was in her room reading a book called the Shadows. She was all alone. Her parents went out to get dinner but then it started to storm hard and the parents were still out getting dinner. So she was there alone she sometimes liked to stay alone but sometimes she thought it was a little scary. The fun part is she gets to do whatever she wanted but the scary part is that she doesn't have her parents to help her so she would have to help herself if there is any danger. But there has not been any danger that she has been in. She was staying there alone but if she was in danger she knows what to do because her parents told her what to do over and over so she can keep it in her head and the rules were that you have to either fight or escape to the closest house and call the police she never had to do that before but she has been practicing with her parents for a while so she knew what to do and so she has it in her head at all times. While she was reading the lights went off, then back on again she gasped. Kayla looks up and she hears something from outside of her room but she doesn't go out to check she just sits up on her bed and pulled her blanket up when she was done she just kept reading. A little bit later she heard the laundry room door shut, then she got up to open her bedroom door and nothing was there. So she went back to her room and turned on her television and started watching some episodes of The Walking Dead. While she was watching it she heard a squeak by the front door she turns the television down and gets up to get her flashlight and goes to check if there is anything out there. "Is anybody there?" she yelled nobody answers so she ran to her room and she turned her television back up a little bit but just a little in case she heard something again. She went out to the kitchen to get a snack but then she noticed that there was only an apple so she just took the apple and went back to her room shut the door and sat on her bed and ate it. When she was done with the apple she went back to the kitchen to get some water. When she was about to walk back to her room she heard something by the kitchen so she went to go see but she saw ... • 7. Personal Narrative Essay : The Day That Day In My Life That Day As I walk out the door all alone... Thud Thud I hear loud footsteps like someone was walking towards me. I turned around and all I saw were the leaves falling off the trees and pure silence. I tell myself I'm hallucinating. I look to my front and start walking. A mysterious man was walking towards me. He was dressed in all black from head to toe. With his black sunglasses on, I couldn't tell if he was looking at me. I started to shiver but he passed me. I suddenly turned around to see if he was looking back at me. But he wasn't there anymore. I started wondering if all the things I saw were just hallucinations. At that moment I heard a loud scream. I thought it sounded like a girl. I immediately took my phone out and began dialing 911. I turn around not knowing what to do and I see the man holding a baseball bat. Then everything went blank. Unaware, the lady who lives in the house in front of me, came out the door and called 911. As I open my eyes I see myself in a hospital, no clue of what happened. The police came in through the door and asked me to tell them about everything that happened that day. I started shaking, shouting NO NO NO! "Excuse me, you are causing trauma. At 12:00 p.m. officer Darren Wilson responds to call and leaves a nearby home where he had been responding to an emergency call about a sick child. At 12:01 p.m. officer Wilson encounters Michael Brown, but not in regards to the robbery, but to walking down the middle of the street stopping traffic. At 12:01–12:04 p.m. Michael Brown shot dead, details unknown" (BBC News). People like to bring up the fact that Michael Brown was an unarmed black person and that the officer, that shot him, was a white police officer. Now days you have to bring skin color into the situation because "it matters" what skin color you are, when in reality it does not matter. I believe that everyone was created equal. It should not matter if the person who got shot was white, black, purple or green and if the shooter was white, black, Hispanic, or sparkly. EVERYONE IS EQUAL. We are all apart of one race and that is the human race. The New York Times states the fatal incident like this, "There is an altercation between Officer Wilson and Mr. Brown, who is standing at the window of the vehicle. Officer Wilson fires two shots from inside the vehicle, one likely grazing Mr. Brown's thumb, and the other missing him. Mr. Brown runs east. Officer Wilson ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Once we all got through the fence we could barely see the house, because the grass and weeds were so tall. We pushed our way through the weeds and grass and finally made it to the back of the house. We tried to look through the filthy windows, but they were boarded up. Before I opened the door, I asked everybody "Do we really want to do this?" Alexis being the brave one said "Just do it." Jada is the scared one asked "Are we really going to do this?" And me being the curious one I wanted to see what was inside the house. Once we got in the house we felt a cold burst of air. We started walking towards the back of the crummy house until we saw a dark figure walking towards the stairs. Jada saw the dark figure and froze.
