• A focus group is a qualitative research where a
a group of people are asked about their
insights, views, beliefs, and attitudes towards
a product, advertisement, idea, or packaging.
• They normally do this when new films come
out in the cinema. Its normally journalist as
they can give there opinion on how good or
bad the film is.
3. Questionnaire
• A questionnaire is a research tool consisting of
a bunch of questions for the purpose of
gathering information from respondents. Its
mainly a quantitative research.
• It is usually used when they are talking about
a film. Talking about what films they into etc.
4. Test screening
• A test screening is a preview screening of a
movie or television show before its general
release in order to gauge audience reaction.
Test screenings have been recommended even
for starting filmmakers.
• In films they will use it as they need to know
if the new film is good enough to release.
