Film Proposal:
Young 15year-old teenager Kyle
dreams of being a successful
footballer. Parents Daphne and
Michael disagree with him and
decide to tell him becoming a lawyer
is a better suit for him.
Kyle is frustrated and Mr Brown
realizes and has a one-to-one
conversation with him.
Mr Brown tells him about doing
things to make him-self happy.
He quotes ‘Are you succeeding to
make yourself happy or is it to
impress someone else. His parents
realise his potential and they
support him.
Best friend Jamie goes to his house
and Kyle goes upstairs. Jamie sees a
scholarship that is for Kyle reads it
and grows jealous, decides to take
the letter.
Trailer Proposal:
- Kyle sneaking out of the house to go to football practise, almost
getting caught by his father Michael.
- Kyle’s disappointment in his parents.
- Failing law, and other subjects, gets upset. Mr Brown speaking to
him about being passionate about his so called ‘football dream’.
- Kyle wanting to speak to his parents about his dream, while they
refuse to listen.
- They know he’s sneaking out to play football, so they follow him,
they realise he is passionate and loves football
- Kyle notices and thinks they’re going to tell him off or shout.
- He gets a scholarship and joins a successful football
team.(Tottenham Hotspur)
- Finds out about his scholarship letter and has a fall out with Jamie
