• Mark Romanek (born September 18, 1959) is an American filmmaker
whose directing work includes feature films, music videos,
and commercials.
• Romanek wrote and directed the 2002 film One Hour Photo and the
2010 film Never Let Me Go. His most notable music videos include
Hurt by Johnny cash, Closer by nine inch nails, Criminal by Fiona
Apple, Scream by Michael & Janet Jackson and Shake it off by Taylor
Swift.
• Romaneks music videos have won a huge 20 MTV Video music awards
and three grammy awards for best short form music video.
3. David Fincher
• David Andrew Leo Fincher (born August 28, 1962) is an American film
director, film producer, television director, television producer, and
music video director. He was nominated for the Academy Award for
Best Director for the romantic fantasy drama The Curious Case of
Benjamin Button(2008) and the drama The Social Network (2010). For
the latter, he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Directorand
the BAFTA Award for Best Direction.
• He is also known for having directed the psychological
thrillers Seven (1995), Fight Club (1999), the mystery
thrillers Zodiac (2007) and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo(2011)
and Gone Girl (2014), as well as being pivotal in the creation of the
critically acclaimed U.S. television series House of Cards.
4. Jake Nava
• Jake Nava is a director of music videos and TV commercials, having
created award-winning works over the past decade for some of the
best-known artists and brands worldwide.
• Whilst completing his film degree, Nava began his professional career
directing music videos and films for MTV Sports. He went on create
videos for various artists, including Britney Spears and the Rolling
Stones. This led to advertising campaigns for the likes of Armani,
Puma, Diet Coke, Bacardi and HSBC. Nava's Anti-Gun campaign to
reduce inner city gun crime received three D&AD nominations and
reached over 90% of its target audience.
