SEARCH CRITERIA
• Search for the required skills first.
• PUT all the KEY WORDS OF Required. skills in the search.
• Once all the Req. skills are there in the resume then search for the preferred skills too.
• Try to get as many preferred skills in the candidate resume.
• Broad cast it to vendors while searching on Data Base & web site.
APPROACHES TO SEARCH ON THE
JOBSITES
• Break up the skills of the requirement into
primary and secondary skills
• Put the primary skills in the key words tab
• Once you get the resumes, you have to be
selective by doing a sub search on basis of
location or secondary skills to short list resumes
• Also Boolean search can be done by putting the
specific skills in “abc”

• Story line about Comtechllc should be brief

• While discussing with the candidate check
on the following
- Communication Skills
- Projects worked
- Role performed
Screening Process
• Greet them cheerfully and ask them if it is a right time to speak to them.
– Make sure you are talking to the right skilled person.
– Discuss the requirement with them.
– Discuss the location of the project
– Project duration
– Make sure he is comfortable with it.
– Ask for his Detail’s through email.
– Negotiate on rate’s and finalize if on W-2/Corp 2 Corp. If from a
vendor company ask for the companies detail’s to negotiate the
rates with his recruiter AND Manager.
– Take written commitment in the email about Rate’s, Availability
and joining Date. Also take exclusivity email from the candidate.
– Get the NDA signed and faxed to us by the consultant and the
vendor to ensure commitment.
– Recruiter should provide their contact information to the
consultant so that he should be able to connect to the recruiter
properly and make him more comfortable while speaking to him.
WHO ALL CAN QUALIFY
• W2: H1-B/ OPT/EAD/GC/CITIZEN/TN
When, we ask the consultant to come on W2. Actually we are hiring him. He will be on our
payroll; we will pay his medical and other benefits. Usually we add 30% to the negotiated
Rate that covers our cost.
