1. BBFC Rating for our film
PG (Parental Guidance) Generalviewing, butsome
scenes may be unsuitable for young children A PG film should notunsettle a
child aged around eightor older. Unaccompanied children of any age may
watch, butparentsare advised to consider whether the contentmay upset
younger, or more sensitive, children.
Due to the fact that our film trailer is aimed at 5-9 year olds, it means
that they will not have to be accompanied by an adult when
watching this. There will be no sense of extreme bad language or
inappropriate scenes as it is strictly aimed at them.
Discriminate language or behaviour is not accepted within this rating.
We chose PG because we knew that with a comedy film aimed at 5-9
year olds, this sort of behaviour or language will not be included and
therefore this rating suited our film trailer ideas.
There will be no nudity as it is inappropriate for both the school
exam board and the viewers of our trailer. This again means the
rating we chose is well suited.
There will be comical violence but no scenes of extreme natured
behaviour that would be at risk of causing any harm. This is also why
we chose this rating and felt comfortable inviting this age group
without needing adults because it will include the kind of mild
violence they find funny as it will be comical.
