Natural resources are sources inherent to Earth that are useful to humans, including both renewable and non-renewable materials. There are three main types of natural resources: biotic resources which are living things like forests and animals, abiotic resources which are non-living things like air and water, and renewable resources which can be replenished like sunlight.
