What kind of media institution would distribute your film and why?
1. Revolver Entertainment
• “While a theatrical focus is key to Revolver's business they are
also experts in youth entertainment and exploiting both
physical and digital home entertainment distribution
channels. In a time of industry change Revolver remain at the
forefront of possibility as pioneers in digital distribution,
embracing new technology and always staying one step
ahead of the game”
2. • Revolver entertainment distributed another urban youth cultural
UK film which was Shank.
• This means they take risks in giving new people chances and as we
have a similar film to Shank, our chances of being chosen by them
would be high.
• Another film they took a risk with was Kidulthood, this also is
another urban youth cultural UK film.
• Kidulthood was successful and a sequel was produced a few years
afterwards, which was “Adulthood” and revolver entertainment
distributed both films
• Kidulthood, and Shank both introduced some new actors which
were not very known before these films. This appeals to us again as
we have some less popular actors who have a chance to be
supported by a UK distribution company.
