Profile
I am a “Driller” with nine years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, who is
now ready to take the next step in my career. I am a strong communicator
with exceptional work ethics, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn. I
have a desire for responsibility and as a team man, I have earned the respect
of my managers and crew members alike.
My recent experience, drilling 4200m to 5100m HPHT wells in the remote area
of the “Cooper Basin” Australia, has been a valuable addition to my skill set, in
terms of “best drilling practice” procedures.
I am a quick learner and enjoy sharing knowledge and mentoring.
Safety is an important part of our industry and I take pride in my role as an
example to others through hazard identification and mitigation.

2. Experience
Weatherford RIG 826
An NOV Ideal 1,500 horsepower TDS triple cyber chair 826 is one of the most
technically advanced land rigs operating in Australia and one of the few
equipped for HPHT
I have worked on (826) for seven years starting as a Derrickhand and working
my way up through Assistant Driller, to Driller. When starting on rig 826 I was
part of the “set up” from a “new build”, in Western Australia.
I have been a “Driller” for more than three years and I am keen to advance to a
“Night Pusher’s” position. I believe in my ability to assume this role and all the
responsibilities that go with it.
During the past seven years I have helped with the “set up” and “startup” on
this rig. After it was immobilized from America, I ran and co-ordinated rig
moves with clients and numerous third party cartage companies.
As a Driller I have spent the past 3 years working and helping troubleshoot (if
needed) with the “Amphion system”. I have had the advantage of working
with many “Top Drive” systems,” Automotive pipe” handlers and “Catwalks”.
I pride myself in being a safety orientated person, that thinks in advance.
I enjoy training people and watching them grow into respective positions,
within the company.

Supervisory
• Responsible for training and supervising Drill Crew.
• Supervise and assist in making and maintaining mud in accordance to
formation and operational requirements.
• Run, organize and mentor on rig floor and monkey board operations.
• Perform a high standard in well control procedures.
Responsibilities
• Maintain constant communication with driller and mud loggers in
accordance to HPHT procedures and requirements
• Observe and maintain mud volumes and trends and report any changes in
volumes, to the company rep and mud loggers.
• Comply with all QHSE procedures and programmes including hazard
identification and mitigation as well as actively participating in safety
meetings, pre-task JHAs and ongoing reviews of SOPs. Ensure all PTW
regulations are adhered to by me and my co-workers.
• Proactively maintain and repair equipment
• Handle pipe, during tripping and drilling operations and connections
• Assist NTP and Rig Manager where possible

Work History Summary Oil and Gas
I started Working for “Parker Drilling’, New Zealand as a “Mud Hand” and
worked my way up in positions as “Lease Hand” , “Floorman Motorman”
and a “Derrick Hand”, spending a minimum 12 months in each position.
While working at “Parker “Drilling”, I was involved in “Geo- Thermal” power
projects, in the Taupo area NZ. I also completed dozens of wells around the
New Plymouth region, working with different chemicals including “Oil Base”
mud.
• Precision Drilling (PDI). I was working on rig 709; it was "state of the art"
and one of the biggest SCR super singles in Australia. This rig was fitted out
with a full “Pasion System”. This rig was able to be moved in under 24 hours.
We were drilling holes 7000ft deep in under 6 days, (that is rig up, to rig
down). I have learnt alot while working with PDI, such as working with
different types of “Iron Ruff Necks”, “Hydraulic Slips”, and “Canrig TDS”, that
was controlled by a “Varco Eden Break”.
• NRG three months start up on a new build telescopic double drilling gas
injection well for “Origin Energy” New Zealand.
