2. Experience
OGN North Sea ltd January 2014-april 2015
I worked in the shed when I first started working at OGN on the caisson for a jacket they had in
Talisman. I was transferred from there to the Enquest Producer FPSO project. I was working to
permit to work systems and confined space when working on the Enquest Producer. I done a lot
of repair work in the tanks and added a lot of extra stiffening to the tank tops. I was then
transferred to the build of the jacket fitting caissons and tubular. I then worked on the shell
Kvaerner project which was an expansion for a Norwegian oil and gas plant.
A and P Tyne august 2013- January 2014
Worked on the aircraft carrier project fitting bulkhead, stiffing bars deck inserts. Also worked on
the panel line fitting stiffing bars to decks and bulkheads.
Global energy resources June 2013 – august 2013
I worked at nigg bay on these dates for the Bryn hill project which was a bluewater FPSO which
was overseen by AMEC. On this project I was stripping the old deck down ready for a new
manifold system to be installed to acidometer a new oil pipe line.
Global energy resources march 2013 – may 2013
I got a start at nigg bay working for global energy resources on the 704 Rig. On this rig I was
taking the old steel out that was inadequate and replacing it with new steel on different sections
of the rig. I was also involved in replacing the lift shafts in the legs of the rig.
2008 - 2012 A&P Group Hebburn yard
I started my apprenticeship at 16 and finished it when I was 20. I have done a bit of everything
throughout my time there. I was working in the shed for a few months at a time then getting
moved onto the ship for a further few month and this went on all through my time at A&P Tyne.
