2. Summary In this section Dick & Perry are initially shown o be debating g over money. Next we see Dewey going through clues and trying to conceal “the civilian population” from any knowledge of a break through in the clutter case. Next we see Mrs. Hartman giving her opinion of what happened, then we see Perry reminiscing about crimes he committed as a kid, Dick and Perry then rob people so they can get some money, due to the fact there finances were low.
3. Points of Alienation Alienation is shown within this section is shown in a few ways an easily distinguishable one is the use of the flashback to Perry’s childhood, it shows us he was alienated from society by his criminal impulses, and another show of alienation, is Dick’s Self imposed exile from Kansas city, he decides to “rob a buddy” something “he’s never done before” to make money for him and Perry, this alienates him from society and his previous friends.
4. The most interesting point of this section in our opinion was the description of Perry’s Childhood, it clearly shows that he always had a criminal life style even from a young age, this obviously carried on and grew throughout his later life.
