On January 22, 2010 a group of young men and women from the Black Mountain Middle School Eighth Grade Homogeneous GATE class went to defend their title at the annual We The People Competition at Grossmont College, El Cajon, California. They competed in a simulated congressional hearing and answered questions about American political science and history.
