2. September 13 In September 13 it is celebrated in Mexico the ‘Niños Heroes’, who were supposed to be six teenage cadets of ages between 13 and 19 years old that died defending the Chapultepec Castle from the invasive forces of the USA in the Chapultepec battle of September 13,1847. But this ‘kids’ weren't really kids, and did nothing heroic, this story isn't even completely true, as there are records of some ‘Niños heroes’ that weren't dead about 40 years later.
3. Revolution November 20 This date is celebrated as the first social revolution of the XX century. we celebrate it mainly as we took down Porfirio Diaz, a dictator that had been more than 30 years on the power. This is a good celebration in my opinion as we could had been communists or something like that if Diaz hadn't been taken down.
4. Independence September 16 It is remembered as the ‘Grito de Dolores’, as it’s the date that in 1810 Miguel Hidalgo told the people of the town of Dolores to rise in arms against the Spain oppression, and start the independence fight.
