The STaR Chart is a tool developed by the Texas Education Agency to help schools and districts assess their progress in meeting technology standards set by the No Child Left Behind Act. It measures progress across four key areas: teaching and learning, educator preparation, leadership and administration, and infrastructure. Schools and districts can use the STaR Chart to determine their current level of technology implementation and set goals to reach the target level in each area. Deer Park High School has been improving its technology and appears to be meeting most state requirements, though continued investment in staff training is recommended.
