Color Poem
Yellow looks like
the bright sun in the sky,
sweet pineapple in a bowl
and the stars shining at night
Yellow sounds like
children laughing,
babies sleeping
and birds singing
Yellow tastes like
honey in a jar,
sweet crunchy potatoes
and sour lemon juice
Yellow feels like
taking a shower,
seeing the sun
and sleeping in my own bed
If I am the in charge of the world
If I were in charge of the world
I’d make all people happy
I’d give everyone the things they want,
and I’d make people follow my rules.
If I were in charge of the world
There’d be no wars
There’d be no school,
and there’d be chocolate buildings, grass and trees.

You wouldn’t find insects that bite people
You wouldn’t find children who are studying,
or families without their own cars and houses.
