people are doing more important things that require His attention.
Well here is a good process for you to pray through:
1. Is there any known, unconfessed sin in your heart? Ask God to bring things to your mind, with a will-
ing heart to act upon what He tells you. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.
Ps. 66:18. Know, that even with unconfessed sin, God is still near, but perhaps He will not hear.
2. Affirm by faith that you have received fullness in Christ (Col. 2:10), and therefore the nearness of
God in your life is not contingent upon your performance as a Christian? You may feel like God is dis-

Isaiah the prophet writes:
Who among you fears the LORD and obeys the word of his servant? Let him who walks in the dark, who
has no light, trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God. 11 But now, all you who light fires and
provide yourselves with flaming torches, go, walk in the light of your fires and of the torches you have
set ablaze. This is what you shall receive from my hand: You will lie down in torment. Isa. 50:10-11
Please know today, that God is real, no matter how you feel. Pray through the process; wait on Him
and find that, in time, He will renew your strength.

be good stewards of this talent. As we have been walking through the book of Colossians together as a
church, our team has been writing original music in response to the passage for each week. The goal is
to provide a music resource to our church to help remind us of what God was teaching us during this
series.
My prayer is that God will continue to use our Worship Team for His glory and that He would pour out
songs for the local church that draw us into deeper relationship with Him. We will keep you posted on the
details of this new project and hope that it will be a blessing to you as it has been to us.
