  • You have to leave the office last to prove your
    dedication
  • You have to be focused on your next upward move
    at all times

Who Am I?

•     I am your constant companion.
•     I am your greatest helper or heaviest burden.
•     I will push you onward or drag you down to failure.
•     I am completely at your command.
•     Half the things you do might just as well be turned over to me and
      I will be able to do them quickly and correctly.
•     I am easily managed – you must merely be firm with me. Show
      me exactly how you want something done and after a few lessons
      I will do it automatically.
•     I am the servant of all great people and, alas, of all failures as well.

Take Time for You

• Exercises
   – Write 5 minutes without stopping even for a second.
      o In what ways am I preventing or sabotaging self-care in my
       life?

   – Take 5 minutes each day for a week to reflect and
     journal on the following:
      o What did I do to take care of myself today?
      o How did that impact my energy and presence?
      o What was my biggest breakdown or excuse today?
         - If resolved (overcame it and worked through it), what helped me
           resolve it?
         - If unresolved, what action will I take to resolve it today or
           tomorrow?
