  2. 2. What is the NomCom?The NomCom is a committee designedto function independently from theICANN Board, SupportingOrganizations, and AdvisoryCommittees. NomCom members actonly on behalf of the interests of theglobal Internet community and withinthe scope of the ICANN mission andresponsibilities assigned to it by theICANN Bylaws.

  5. 5. What is the process? The 2013 NomCom is looking to recruit people to apply for Nine(9) positions in the ICANN Ecosystem. We encourage all good candidates to apply.

GNSO - Generic Names SupportingOrganizationThe GNSO is the body ofseven constituencies:• Registry Stakeholder Group• Registrar Stakeholder Group• Commercial and Business Users• Intellectual Property Interests• Internet Service and Connection Providers• Non-Commercial Users• Not-for-Profit Operational Two Positions Concerns Constituency
