Shooting Script.

1. SHOOTING SCRIPT
DAY 1
Characters Needed: Joe and Louise
Location: Georgina’s house
For filming day 1 the audio track will not be available so we wont be recording any
shots where it will be required. Instead we will record the narrative shots of the music
video. I also won’t be adding any timings into our music video because we may record
more shots on the actual day, or record a shot for longer than necessary and crop it
down in the editing process.
The shots wont be in order of how they will appear in the music video.
Shot 1 – *Close Up Shot*
Close up shot of Louise’s face as she pulls back the curtain and looks out of the
window.
Shot 2 - *Wide Shot*
Of Joe walking down the middle of the street playing his guitar. Walks off the side of
the frame.
Shot 3 – *Wide Shot* *Establishing Shot*
Louise will be in the living room (keeping busy), Joe will walk around the corner
into the living room and they will start arguing. Joe will attempt to kiss Louise but
she will push him away and storm out of the room.
Shot 4 - *Wide Shot* *Establishing Shot*
Joe will be sitting on the settee contemplating going after Louise. As he gets up to
follow her she appears in the room where they exchange a few words and then hug.
Louise will then push Joe away and tell him to leave the house. Joe will leave the
house and Louise will fall to the settee.
Shot 5 - *Over the Shoulder Shot*
A simple over the shoulder shot of Joe where we are able to see his face in the
mirror. He will stare at his reflection for a couple of seconds and then put his face in
his hands looking visibly distressed.
Shot 6 - *Mid Shot* *Panning Shot*
Louise will be in the bathroom looking in the mirror. She will then break down
crying and fall to the ground.

2. DAY 2
The audio track will be completed for the second day of filming so this day will be fully
focused on the lip synching shots. Again no timings will be added on as we may film
longer than we have to or film shots we have not necessarily discussed.
The shots wont be in order of how they will appear in the music video.
SHOT 1 - *Mid Shot*
Joe will be sitting on the settee playing his guitar and will sing the first verse and
chorus of the song.
SHOT 2 - *Close Up Shot*
Louise will be sitting against the back of the bedroom door and will sing her verse
and chorus of the song.
SHOT 3 - *Mid Shot*
Both Louise and Joe will be sitting on the settee, seemingly unaware of each other
and will sing the ending chorus twice through of the song.
SHOT 4 - *Mid Shot*
Joe will be in the bedroom and will sing the bridge of the song.
