• Clinical pharmacist in the emergency pharmacy in the military hospital in Khartoum. Job
duties there included dispensing emergency prescriptions for cardiac patients and
monitoring their medications. (March 2012-May 2013)

• Hospital Pharmacist in IbnSena governmental hospital. This hospital is specialized in
treatment of liver, kidney and gastro-enteric diseases. Job responsibilities included
preparing Hypertonic solution, dispensing medications and contributing to the weekly
seminars in the hospital (Sept. 2011-Nov. 2011)
• Participated in the Pharmaceutical Care Conference in 2010 in Sudan and attended the
workshop (communications barriers in dispensing medications). Also, I was responsible
for evaluating the outcome of the conference and the workshop.

2. Degree Thesis:
• Master Program:
Under the title of ‘Healthcare-workers perception about the role and potential
barriers to clinical pharmacy’; the research was concerned about the relationship
between the clinical pharmacists and doctors in Sudan; where the field of clinical
pharmacy is considered relatively new. Questionnaires were designed and
distributed for doctors and pharmacists in about 30 hospitals in Khartoum state to
reflect the barriers to fully utilizing clinical pharmacy and results were analyzed
using SPSS. [With (A) Grade]
