1. How to Make Maduros

2. Step 1
Things you need.
Plantains
Oil
Spatula
Plate
Knife
Skillet

3. Turn stove on to heat up skillet
STEP 2

4. Step 3
Heat approximately 1/4" oil in a
medium skillet over medium heat.

5. Step 4
Peel the plantain, and cut at an angle,
making slices about 3/4" thick.

6. Step 5
BROWN THE PLANTAINS IN OIL.
APPROX 2 MINUTES EACH SIDE

7. Step 6
Check to ensure the plantains are cooking.
Once they appear to be brown on one side flip it over.

8. Step 7
Ensure that both sides of the plantains are brown
Thoroughly. If not please continue to cook until darkened.

9. Step 8
Once it’s brown on both sides, remove from pan
Place on a plate with paper towel to soak up oil
Let sit for 2 minutes.
CAUTION HOT!!!!

10. Step 9
You may sprinkle brown sugar or salt to give flavor

11. Step 10
You can now remove from paper towel and enjoy!
