The document summarizes four murals located at Cranford School. The first mural is in the music corridor and features colorful shapes, music notes, and a saxophone player surrounded by instruments. The second mural near the dining hall entrance depicts a carnival scene with rides and a rock band, but uses dark colors that don't convey the intended cheerful atmosphere. The third large mural on the math staircase includes the school motto but has few distinguishing details. The fourth busy mural in the concert hall is difficult to discern due to many shapes and colors, but uses mainly blue and green hues.

Mural analysis
1. First Mural
The first mural is in the music corridor. It is colourful with lots of shapes, colours and patterns.
It has music notes near the bottom that float across the pace. There’s a man playing a
saxophone surrounded by musical instruments. A piano twists across the top of the page with
a coloured arrow that shoots across the centre of the page just behind the man.

Analysis of Murals
Second Mural
The second mural is located near the entrance to the dining hall. The picture is of a carnival or
fun fair. In the front at the bottom theirs a band stand where people are listening to a rock
band. Next to it you can see the 2 wind turbines that are in the Cranford School field. Theirs
rides in the background like the big wheel and a merigo round and the sun slowly burning in
the dark sky. It’s dark colours and is not very cheerful. Like a fun day on a dark day, it just
doesn't look quiet right.
Third Mural
The third mural is located on the maths staircase. It is big and dark. It has the Cranford motto in
right colours at the top with game like pictures. There are loots of little things in white and
grey colouring. It isn’t a very exiting mural and there's not all that much to say about it.
Fourth Mural
The fourth mural is in the concert hall high up on the wall. It is a very busy colourful mural.
There are lots of shapes & colours but it is very difficult to see what is happing in it. The main
colours are blue and green as there the easiest colours to pick out. I think it was made to make
the hall more pretty.
