The Book of Job is one of the 66 books of the Bible. It tells the story of Job, a man in the land of Uz who suffers greatly with loss of property, health, and family, but remains faithful to God despite his friends claiming he must have sinned. God then appears to Job out of a whirlwind and questions Job on the limitations of human understanding, restoring Job's health and family in the end.
