In Bulgaria, high school students celebrate prom one year after finishing their final exams in May. The prom is an extremely important event, especially for girls who want to look their most beautiful with expensive dresses, shoes, and makeup. Graduates take photos at their meeting point before the main event, which is held at a restaurant with music, food, drinks, and dancing where the school principal and teachers are invited to celebrate the students finishing their education.
2. Preparations for the ball begin one year earlier, because
students are supposed to organize the whole event.
In Bulgaria, when you finish high school (at the age
of 18 or 19), you are so happy that school is finally
over, that you have to celebrate.
So, we have proms.
3. It is celebrated in May, mainly on the 23rd, 24th or 25th, after finishing the exams.

Each girl wants to be the most beautiful at the prom,
