El auxiliar DID es aquel empleado en el tiempo verbal
“pasado simple”, el cual se utiliza para describir acciones
que han sucedido anteriormente y que ya han culminado
o finalizado.
Para poder formar una oración oon preguntas en tiempo pasado debemos
distinguir dos tipos: verbos regulares e irregulares
Verbos regulares: son aquellos a los que le agregamos la terminación “ED”,
ejm: Play-played Cook-cooked
Verbos irregulares: son aquellos que en pasado cambian totalmente ejm: Buy-
bought Eat-ate.
Ejemplos de oraciones afirmativas en pasado simple
1) He closed the window ( el cerro la ventana)
2) The lost the keys (ellos perdieron las llaves)
3) Alice brushed her teeth (alicia cepillo sus dientes)
4) Mike drank all the juice (miguel bebio todo el jugo)
5) Sam and ernets that watched that movie ( sam y ernesto
vieron esa pelicula )
6) Our team won the competition (nuestro equipo gano la competencia)
Ejemplos de Oraciones negativas en pasado simple
1) He did no closet the window (el no cerro la ventana)
2) They didn’t lost the keys (ellos no perdieron las llaves)
3) Alice did not brush her teeht (alicia no cepillo sus dientes)
4) Mike didn’t drink all the juice (miguel no bebio todo el jugo)
5) Sam and ernest didn’t watch that movie
(sam y ernesto no vieron esa pelicula
6) Our team didn’t win the competition (nuestro equipo no gano la
competencia)

Para los demás tiempos verbales 'to be' se comporta
como un verbo ordinario.
I have been a good friend (Present Perfect).
I am being very patient (Present continuous).
I will be your wife (Future).
I can be your friend (con un verbo modal).
