Two and a half years ago at Fwdays, I gave a talk "Why I left TypeScript in my React projects and where". I still enjoy writing on ReScript, but I no longer call React my favorite of the big 3 Angular/Vue/React, and TypeScript has greatly increased my development. Instead of provocative theses, I will try to share a vision with you: what's important about TypeScript and its ecosystem in recent years why TypeScript won't be able to replace ReScript for me and why I don't see it as a problem what (didn't) appear in React, why and what risks I see how competitive ecosystems have developed and why you should be interested in them Here there will be no answer where to run: on preact (yes, this is a reasonable alternative), solidjs, svelte, qwik or somewhere else, but you can stay on React and endure all this Next) Instead, there will be many facts and factors worth talking about and arguing about.
